    Front bumper removal instructions??

Not sure what GM has planned if/when they make a recovery point available for non Z71 vehicles. You are going to find that not only is the recovery hook not long enough but the bend is wrong and causes the hook to touch the edge of the facia. Any movement of the body relative to the frame will...

    Front bumper removal instructions??

Unless GM has developed a recovery hook specific for the LS/LT/High Country bumper cover then you are going to find the recovery hook for the 1500 series truck and Z71 trim package tahoe/suburban doesn’t stick out of the facia far enough to be used without damaging the bumper cover. I found...

Owners manual leaves it to your imagination on removing the access panel

    AT4 XL - Largest Tires?

These instructions are for 1500 series Silverado’s and Sierra’s but the trimming would be similar for a Tahoe, Suburban, Yukon, etc.

    Spare tire - Access panel

Small flat blade screwdriver with a wrap of electrical tape on the tip has worked for me. I have removed the access panel to lower the spare tire 3 times now (twice to check air pressure and once for a flat).

    AT4 XL - Largest Tires?

Regardless of how you manipulate the static height of the air suspension, 285/55r22 won’t work with the suspension compressed (big bump or at easy exit height) without removing a bracket from the rear of the front fender wells and cutting/zip tie the fender liner back. The attached pictures...

    Winter wheel / tire setup

I have a 2021 high country suburban with factory 22 inch wheels. Factory spare is an black aluminum alloy 17 inch wheel. 265/70r17 is the spare tire size. I believe backspacing is the issue with some non factory 17 inch wheels not the rim diameter.

What made you decide on a high country over a Denali?

Assuming price and dealer allocation are the same between the Chevrolet and GMC dealers you are thinking of ordering from… I would do some research on the service departments at the dealers and make the purchase decision based on that.

What made you decide on a high country over a Denali?

When I was doing my research for a 2021 model the dash, led taillights and fog lamps were the differences between High Country and Denali. Of course availability trumped everything and I ended up with a High Country Suburban.

    Full sized spare?

I had the spare tire out today to check air pressure and measured the spare area for a larger tire. It’s ~ 35 inches front to rear from the suspension crossmember heat shield to the trailer hitch. It’s also ~ 35 inches side to side from exhaust shield to exhaust shield. I think the issue will be...

2024 Yukon Refresh Spied (warning- it’s not that exciting of an article!)

Installed the revised switch panel today. The 360 degree camera button works as advertised. Don’t have to navigate the infotainment screens to get the cameras onscreen.

    Windshield Washer Fluid leak

Glad you were able to figure out the leak. It is easy enough to push the barb fitting and rubber supply hose back together. I saw no evidence of a spit hose or other damage, it seemed like it was not connected correctly from the factory. FYI, I could not fit my hands in to reconnect the fitting...

2024 Yukon Refresh Spied (warning- it’s not that exciting of an article!)

I ordered an auto stop eliminator and was going to install it at the same time as the new switch panel. The autostop eliminator website has a great dash disassembly video for the Tahoe, Suburban and non Denali Yukon to use for their product and gets you access to the switch assembly. Their video...

2024 Yukon Refresh Spied (warning- it’s not that exciting of an article!)

It appears you need the same part that I used… 84786497 I googled that part number and ended up ordering online from quirkparts.com The part arrived today, about 10 working days after I placed the order. I called my local Chevy dealer and they quoted 2 weeks to get the part in and we’re about...

2024 Yukon Refresh Spied (warning- it’s not that exciting of an article!)

I have to credit this info to peterlawl84 on another forum. Based on his information I ordered the replacement switch panel to add the 360 degree camera button to my 2021 High Country Suburban. If time permits this weekend I will install and report back.

    Windshield Washer Fluid leak

I had a similar issue last week, it ended up being a barb fitting had come loose from the rubber supply hose. The location was the top of the passenger rear frame rail near the spare tire. My leak was obvious once I refilled the washer fluid tank.

    2022 Yukon Denali All-Terrain Tires (stock P275/50R22)

I would like to add another data point. I had 285/50r22 toyo at3’s installed a few days ago on a 2021 Suburban. At normal ride height there is no issue with rubbing, in entry/exit mode (lowered 2 inches) the front tires intermittently brush against the fender liner with the steering wheel turned...

    Max tire width, no lift/level

Tires look good. Do you have air suspension? If so, could you lower down the suspension to entry/exit mode and crank the wheels left or right and post some measurements of front and back fender liner clearance?
