There's 2 different rubber "seals" on these. The inner one is the actual seal and this outer one is just a rubber mount surface to protect the paint.
Here's some good info on this with some pics

The worm drive clamps I have on my external trans filter setup would leak during the winter and I would have to tighten them. That's why I switched them over to spring clamps
I bought these a few months ago for my 2012 Yukon but found out that since it's Flexfuel that they may not read the E85 content correctly, so I bought OE/ACDelco brand and don't need these.
Brand new, in sealed bags in the boxes.
$25 for the pair shipped within the US.
I'm pretty sure these...
First off, is the vehicle not in the US? Is it an ex PPV/SSV (police or special service) model? If so, it may not have the BCM programed for DRL.
Also I believe there is a fuse in the engine compartment fuse box for DRL

Maybe it had something to do with securing engine when shipping/transporting from the engine plant to the truck plant.
Or maybe when installing the engine to the frame.
Could just be some type of harmonic dampener to stop a NVH (noise/vibration/harshness) when the engine reaches a certain rpm...
The sizing is a little confusing. I originally bought a pack of the 5/8" ones to use on some rubber trans hose. They did fit the hose, but were almost maxed out just to get them slipped over the hose without being on a barb fitting. So I then bought the 11/16" and they fit better, more in the...
I buy the Hillman Group brand ones off Amazon in packs of 12-20 depending on size. Here's a link to some 11/16"

Do you still have your old housings? If so, plug one of them in and see if it works or not. It doesn't have to be the one that was cracked/corroded and didn't work, plug the good one in and see if the "control modual" recognizes it
I ordered mine from chinacardiag or something like that and didn't have to do anything concerning shipping/customs. I was shipped DHL and I had it in about a week. This was also 5-6 years ago, so things may have changed.
Find a cheap, older camping trailer to leave up there for something to stay in instead of building a shack.
My neighbor has ~20 some acres about 2hrs southwest from here near St. James, MO and he keeps a small camper there. It's like one of these
And if I'm not mistaken, it differs with brand of vehicle. My 2002 mustang will pass all it's readiness monitors in a much shorter drive cycle then the 2012 yukon.
Get a OBD splitter from BT Dieselworks and not have to worry about removing the AutoSync. Mine stays tucked up by the upfitter distribution box and I'm free to use the OE looking OBD port for emissions tests and to plug my MX+ Bluetooth dongle in or even the tech2...
I also had decent results by just using a good pcv valve or check valve in the pcv line and also putting a filter/breather on the oil filler port. With a mass air system this would cause unmetered air and idle problems but if you had a tuning device (moates, tweecer, sct, etc) you could tune for...
I can right a book on this stuff with the different things I did 20 years ago when first supercharging my mustang, from open breathers on the valve covers, one way check valves in the PCV lines, those crankcase Evac valves you weld into the exhaust, etc.
I finally settled with a mechanical...
Yeah, MO needs the readiness monitors completed before passing inspection. I've had the AFM disabled with the Diablo for like 5-6 years and it passes as long as I haven't cleared any codes recently. It takes a couple days of driving to complete the readiness monitors
