Just search Stainless steel flex pipe.
Amazon has some choices as well.
Got new Delphi Pump installed today. Ran the truck extremely low on fuel to make it easier, very uncommon for me as I usually fill up when it hits 1/4 tank.
So far so good. I fueled up afterwards and it calculated the Ethanol percentage at 3.1% after driving it for a while.
I am curious what...
Not 100% sure about these trucks but the older trucks used a viscous coupling inside the AWD transfer case and the rear tires would have to spin up to a certain speed/rpm before the viscous coupling would really transfer power to the front wheels. I have heard of guys partially setting the...
The 3.9 ohm resistors splice into the plug on top of the strut.
Just leave the ride height sensors in place.
If you absolutely must get rid of them, which they aren't hurting anything being there, then unplug one of them and test the resistance across the sensor (while it is at ride height...
It looks like the front speakers wiring splits at the end of the dash board. If you look there is a panel on each end that pops off.
The rear wiring doesn't specify so my guess would be maybe under the carpet somewhere.
Thanks.
I asked Ceasar from Lightwerkz about the bulbs they offer. Here is my email...
Hey Ceasar,
I was thinking about getting a different color temperature bulb as these 5000k bulbs are a little more yellow (halogen color) than I was used too.
I am debating between the 6000k Morimoto or...
Wow, this has really gotten off to a great start.
Thanks to everyone who has posted so far. I always think it is cool to see a forum community pull together and help each other out in a common interest.
I have used the overlays on the HVAC controls and they work great.
One thing to look for is to make sure that the overlays allow for light transmission through the areas where it is supposed too. This way they look just like they did from the factory at night.
I was just reading about HIDs and some people were saying how the color will change slightly as they get used or "burnt in", I don't know maybe it is BS.
I know from past experience that when I have had HID bulbs go out in the past they would sometimes not fail completely but would get a darker...
It depends on if you have to have the latest and greatest or not.
Also if you shop around you will probably find better prices.
Crutchfield is a good place to go look and see what is a direct fit for your truck and what adapters you may need. I usually use them to make a list and then shop...
There are quite a few members that have a Tech 2 and there are always people who wish they had one to use so I thought I would post this thread to try and help each other out.
If you own a Tech 2 and would be willing to help out another forum member that might be local to you then post up your...
I don't have an answer for you unfortunately but this reminded me of something I was going to mention.
We should start a thread and maybe get it stickied with all the guys who have a Tech2 and would be willing to help someone out local to them with maybe just City/State or Zip code/State info...
It can be swapped over to a navigation radio.
It will have to be unlocked or programmed to your VIN or it won't work.
There is a separate GPS antenna and it plugs into the back of the HU and mounts to a metal plate underneath the forward most dash panel, closest to the windshield. If you pop...
I probably should just wait until the parts come in and they are fixed, but when I pulled the lights again the other day to trim some metal behind them and get them to fit a little better to the body, I inserted a big screwdriver into the back of the projector housing where the bulb goes and...
How did you come to this conclusion?
The Diablo tuner allows for line pressures to be adjusted, shift points altered, torque management reduction, torque converter lock up, etc.
At least it does on my '08 with the 4L60E.
My Morimoto 8.0s came with the Motoholder/bulb holders already attached to the back of the projectors so I just removed the screws they had in them and then reinstalled the same screws.
I am currently waiting for the replacement parts to come in. When they get here I will try removing the nut and see what happens.
I requested a new reflector housing, lock nut, and Motoholder base/w screws.
I hate that I will have to bake that light back open, BUT at least I know what to...
I have the 8.0s and Lightwerkz lists the bulbs as Morimoto XB 5000k... to be honest I am thinking about changing out to the 6000k bulbs because the ones I have look more like halogen color than the bright white like yours.
Maybe the bulbs just haven't "burnt" in good yet.
