A good scanner that can show misfire history would help narrow down the culprit. You could try swapping coil packs to see if the misfire moves with the coil pack.
You don't have your upstream O2 sensors hooked up? Or downstream O2 sensors?
#1... Stabilitrac light could be/probably is on because of the misfires.
#2... Could be dirty injectors, could be a bad coil pack harness, could be a bad coil pack or plug wire, could be a burnt valve although that is unlikely as the machine shop would have probably caught it. I always have...
I'm just confused as to why it recalculates it the following day.
I was under the assumption that once it detected a refueling event, of at least 3 gallons, that it went into ethanol relearn mode and that it took X amount of miles to complete the process and once it was done that was it...
Mine wasn't completing the EVAP monitor test either.
I kept having a intermittent P0455 gross leak. I replaced the purge solenoid because it wasn't sealing all the way when commanded to by the Tech2 as it had charcoal pellets, from when I changed the canister, stuck in it.
The gross leak then...
Just wanted to update.
Installed new upstream O2 sensors on the Burb and reset the Ethanol percentage with the Tech2. Drove down an topped off with 89 octane advertised as (10% E).
Immediately got on the interstate and set the CC at 75 and drove 40+ miles.
During this time the E % bounced...
Yeah, I wasn't talking about CM the whole inside.
I know it is almost impossible to come up with something that hasn't been done before.
I was thinking about maybe CMing the chrome sides of the reflectors or something... I don't know.
Also, I am curious if anyone who has done a retrofit before has ever used vinyl inside the headlights? Like a vinyl sticker.
I am just curious if the heat from the bulbs would be an issue with the vinyl, causing it to peel or anything.
Well, I'm still not 100% sure.
I was wanting to do something to make them stand out from the crowd a little bit without being gaudy.
I definitely concur with not wanting to make the lights look like an eyeball or changing the look of the front end too much.
I have kicked around the idea of...
I'm still waiting on you to inform everyone as to the perceived wrong. I personally don't understand what it is that you are so bent out of shape about, and evidently I'm not the only one confused.
Could you please cite said forum rules that you perceive to have been broken?
As for Shaggy, he...
Hopefully I don't have any of these issue. I only went with them because I wanted the clear reflector and I couldn't find another supplier that offered the clear reflector.
GMT900 platform doesn't have a flasher that can be changed like the older platforms... the flash rate is controlled by the BCM.
The higher the wattage rating of the resistor, the cooler they will stay when being used.
Oh, I get it... you are an under cover forum cop and can't talk about it. That is why you can't comment on what the issue is.... I see, it all makes sense now.
