Will a tailpipe from a 2000-2006 fit on my 2007? I am going to replace my rusty tailpipe and muffler. I want to delete the resonator when I do. The 2000-2006 don't have the resonators in the tailpipe. Rear frames and suspension are identical. the 2 hangers they have look like same location only missing one of the hangers by the muffler which I was thinking I can cut that hanger off old tailpipe and weld it on. Those tailpipes only cost 30-40 bucks. So about half a stock 07 tailpipe. Has anyone done it before? I also have a 3 inch aero turbine muffler that's been floating around the garage for a while that I will use. So should have a nice deep rumble after I do the exhaust.

Sub'd. I just did the SLP conversion.

I seen the slp one but didn't want to spend 80-100 on a stock tailpipe then cut it and spend another 120-150 on slp.

Ap exhaust 54157 is the one I am going to order tomorrow. Should be here by the weekend but got bunch guys coming spending the weekend to help me lift beams in place to jack my house off its foundation. Hopefully Monday can get to changing the exhaust. Debating if I need the third hanger or not. Can weld it on if I do need it but might try without out it. And getting new rubber isolators

Came in today and had some time so cut old exhaust off and the new tailpipe fits perfectly. The hanger near tip is a little shorter than original. Hanger by bumper is perfect. I got adjustable rubber isolators with 3 holes last hole is same length as stock isolators. I put the 2 by muffler on middle hole and one by tip on last hole to raise exhaust up and make up for that hanger being short. Sits about 1 inch below bumper cover and couple inches further forward more straight out the side. Still gotta weld it up but did start and rev it. It's slightly louder not much mainly just alot deeper tone. Will weld it in a few minutes than try driving it see how it sounds under load. Still not sure if I need that other hanger or not might put one on just in case.

This is definitely one of the best things I have done to the burb. Cruising it's just as quiet as stock. No drone or anything. Idle deep agressive rumble and when accelerating or climbing a hill a noticable growl than isn't excessively loud. Alot of people have said the way it sounds idling it's surprising how quiet it is when it's driving. Don't think it needs the extra hanger there's no clanking or rattles. and this muffler and tailpipe are alot lighter than the original. Also seat of the pants feels like it has more low end power and accelerated better. Definitely spins tires easier. Did it without trying couple times this weekend.
