09 Tahoe way positive camber after lowered?

What Chris was saying is that the spindles don't affect the camber at all so the 2" of drop you get from them doesn't need to be accounted for, only the 2" of drop from the struts. My 4/6 dropped Burb only needed the Belltech camber plates to align perfectly to factory specs. That was...

08 Tahoe - ABS & Brake lights on, Scan Tool won't communicate with ABS

But the real question is... will your scan tool communicate with the ABS module now???

WREAKED? I must be the luckiest person on earth or worst luck ever!

This is true... he probably wreaked after the fact. Hopefully he wore his brown pants so no one noticed.

    What is this piece called?

Well the Applique attaches to the D-pillar so Brent is half right.... for once... lol

WREAKED? I must be the luckiest person on earth or worst luck ever!

I'm just glad he didn't wreak... it could have very easily caused a wreck.

    P0442 code

My purge solenoid had some charcoal pellets, from the canister, stuck in it and it was holding it open which the computer picked up as a Gross leak (P0455). I discovered this by using my Tech2 . I replaced the purge solenoid and all is well.

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Definitely. My Burb averages 13.5-14 MPG around town on 89 octane with 10% or less ethanol (as advertised). On E85 it averages 10 MPG under the same driving conditions. Ethanol has about 1/3 less stored energy than regular gasoline.

    Beware When Ordering

I ordered a set of headlights from them (through ebay) and had a similar experience. They kept my money for a few weeks before refunding it.

Keeping coolant and transmission temps under control when towing in the summer heat

My main concern with it being hooked to constant power wouldn't be it running for too long after shutting the engine off. My main concern would be a malfunction with the thermostatic switch getting stuck in the closed position allowing it to run continuously. Odds are probably pretty slim but...

    Lowering ppv

I am running shock extenders out back. Factory front springs, yes, but my truck is an LTZ Burb not a PPV Tahoe. Sorry for any confusion.

    Lowering ppv

RS999784 struts for the front. RS999001 shocks for the rear. The fronts are the factory replacements. The rears are actually for the front-end of a square body Suburban but they have the same collapsed/extended lengths as the Belltech drop shocks and basically bolt right into the back end of...

Long term owners of BlackBear Autocal tunes.

More peak power, yes, but where does it make that power and is it usable power for a DD? Also, there is a difference between "back pressure" and smaller primary tube headers. Smaller primary tubes, especially ceramic coated, keep the hot exhaust gases from expanding rapidly, along with keeping...

    15-20 headers work on 07-14?

I know the '15+ trucks have an LT engine and our trucks have an LS engine so I am doubtful that they would fit but I haven't ever researched it either.

I assume you are asking me. They are the 9 way adjustable shocks so you can make them firm or soft.

    Engine advice

This is true I guess. What are the odds of both lifters on the same cylinder being bad I wonder?
  16. kbuskill

    Engine advice

Collapsed lifters shouldn't cause low compression, quite the opposite actually. If the lifters are collapsed then the valves should be shut and compression should be fine unless the rings are shot. However a broken valve spring will definitely cause a valve to stay partially open and not...

2007-2014 Yukon/Sierra Denali Steering Wheel & Escalade Platinum Steering Wheel

Is there really a difference other than the part number? To me the pics of the wheels look the same. I don't need either, I was just curious and figured I would give your post a free bump.

    Personalizing my PPV

Rock Auto lists certain brands of the rotors with holes as being for a Police Tahoe but then other brands without even though they say they are for the PPVs. So I am still unsure if it is brand specific or PPV specific. I wonder if any of the other guys with PPVs have these holy rotors... lol...

    Personalizing my PPV

The holes around the hat of the rotor... is that a PPV thing or is it standard on the later GMT900s??? I don't think I have seen that before. My '08 Burb isn't like that so I wasn't sure if it was PPV specific or maybe '09+ or what.

    2010 Yukon XL Grounds

My factory service manual PDF. Unfortunately it is too big to post and I don't have any way to host it. There are diagrams that correspond to those locations, as you can see it lists the page number, but there are a lot of them to try and screen shot and post here. That is why I was asking...

@somguyss This is from the service manual.... It is not a diagram but at least lists locations. Hopefully it helps. Out of curiosity, what are you trying to accomplish or what issues are you having?

    Kenwood Radio

You would definitely need a Kenwood remote or there are a few Kenwood apps that you can download to your phone that act as a remote depending on your head unit, and phone I suppose, I am an Android guy so I can't speak to whether or not they are available for the iPhone. I just have a regular...

    2014 Yukon XL Denali

They should never be soft... soft = leak. Especially after only being off for 30 mins. Time to break out the spray bottle and soapy water and start spraying the bladders and compressor and lines/fittings.
