The Arnotts are good quality and good warranty. They have a couple different options. The AS-2708 is a factory original AutoRide/Auto leveling shock that Arnott rebuilds with heavy duty, upgraded, bladders. They allow you to retain the AutoRide portion of the factory suspension which is the...

    2014 Yukon XL Denali

They probably will be firm but with a load they should definitely be firm. You can also reach under the truck first thing in the morning before turning the key on and see if they are soft. If they are soft then there is a leak somewhere in the system, most likely the shock bladders but the...

The compressor will run until it reaches ride height OR the pump runs for 255 seconds or 4 minutes and 15 seconds... which ever comes first. The 255 seconds is a safety setting built into the suspension control module which keeps the pump from overheating. I would check the bladders on your...

    Pre-lowered 12 Tahoe. How much?

Air Lift 60742 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000BTK8WA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_SJCQB63JAA00SCR0SDEJ These are the bags everyone uses in drop springs. They are actually for a Nissan Pathfinder/Armada but they fit our drop springs.

Yep, that's it... I couldn't think of what they called it earlier. Keep us posted.

On mine you have to go into one of the settings in the HU and select rear video or something like that... it has been a while since I messed with it as it isn't something that we use often.

That looks interesting for sure. Wish they would have listed some dyno numbers for what it improves and where at in the rpm spectrum. The TPI intakes actually criss-crossed under the plenum, so the runners on the driverside of the plenum actually fed the passenger side head and vice-versa...

Keeping coolant and transmission temps under control when towing in the summer heat

I didn't massage the core support at all. I trimmed the sides of the upper radiator mounts to fit under the core support. This is the only pic I can find... The only other thing that required trimming was the fan shroud to allow it to sit flush against the radiator. And don't forget to...

    P0442 MIL

I have considered it. Not sure what I would do with the gas/water mixture after the fact... lol Also not sure how easy it would be to get the gas into the bottle without making a huge mess. And then there is the question of what to do if they are, in fact, spiking the ethanol numbers. So many...

    Stabilitrack and traction control lights

This would definitely make sense as he was driving it when all of a sudden he had the issue. If the lifters collapsed you would think he would have mentioned the awful tapping/clattering sound that would have likely accompanied it.

    P0442 MIL

So I filled up with my normal Mobil 89 tonight. The truck took 26 gallons so I would expect, with the not more than 10% ethanol sign on the pump, that my ethanol percentage would have been somewhere under 10%.... but no. After the ethanol percentage fluctuated all over the place, from 5% up...

    Tonyrodz's Tahoe Build Thread

I hate it when the forum stop alerting me about new posts... this happens every so often. I just had to catch up on over 100 posts in this thread. Happy Birthday to both of the Tony's Yoots!

    Stabilitrack and traction control lights

I get what your saying and would normally agree BUT... If you have two completely dead cylinders, with zero compression, why wouldn't you have two codes for hard misfires on those two cylinders instead of random misfires? I'm not saying the shop was lying but it takes longer to run a...

I would be willing to bet that Vinci could tell you all the ins and outs about what you are wanting to accomplish with the 5.3l heads on the 6.0l block. He has been doing this a looong time and knows his stuff. If you email him he will usually give you his cell number and be happy to call and...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Yes, the mounts you want are for the H3 Alpha which came with the 5.3l. The passenger side mount for the H3 is the only one that will fit our trucks and it fits both sides of our trucks. Yes, they are a traditional solid rubber mount as opposed to the oil filled ballons our rigs came with.

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

To each his own said the farmer when he kissed the cow... lol I personally can't tell the difference but my hydraulic mount was busted on the driver's side so maybe I was used to more vibration, although it isn't something I notice. In all fairness, I only replaced the drivers side mount with...

I am definitely interested in what you end up doing. I would love to have a low revving LS with big block type of torque in my Burb. I have no reason to turn 5-6k RPM around town. I have always been partial to torque over horse power... probably because I grew up driving my grandfather's big...
