Mine arrived, but I haven’t put them on yet. Maybe today. Just one question… Do either the front or rear ones actually touch a painted surface anywhere? I see they come with a clear protective piece to apply to the paint, and I’ll apply it… but I’m just wondering if that’s just added protection... -

Do you use your rear-view mirror in camera-mode?

If you're looking for gloss black pieces, then I'm 99% sure you're looking for "black" and NOT "black ice." If you're just looking to know what they call the trim that's standard on the RST, I have no idea. But gloss black trim pieces should be labeled as "black." -

Do you have a tried-and-true method for removing the plastic housing at the mirror/windshield? I'd like to go this route with my hardwiring, but I'd have a good chance of damaging the plastic housing without some really good instructions.- KMeloney

How many different levels of brightness of CHROME trim are available on the Yukon?
Looking around on gmpartsdirect, I'm also seeing some of the trim pieces listed as "silver" along with "chrome" and "galvano chrome," so I've got to believe they're all different finishes. No idea what the difference is between the "chrome" and "silver" are, as the "silver" looks like bright... -

On my '23 Yukon Denali, I'm pretty dang sure that I've got the "galvano chrome" trim on it. But whereas the chrome is lighter/brighter/more silver than the "vader" chrome that's available, it's still not a match to the chrome trim around the windows. Given the option, I'd like all of my chrome... -
