    I’m not questioning anything you’ve experienced. I’m just trying to understand what you’re saying. Are you saying that with the Carbyte in, you DON’T get the same engine-braking/slowing of the truck going downhill as with the Carbyte removed? Or the complete opposite? Thanks again.

    Really appreciate your feedback, but I’m not following you with this part. If your RPMs increase going down hills, doesn’t that mean that the transmission is downshifting and the engine is providing braking? (If so, you’d want that when towing a load, no?)     Have not checked any bolts yet. In the Vette, I think the seat rails would spread slightly, and so the back and forth sliding sensation was more of a "rocking" that occurred under acceleration and braking. This could be the same thing. To be clear, I can't imagine that the whole seat is coming...

    Doesn't "FPCM" mean "fuel pump control module"? Why would they replace the whole engine if just the module crapped out? My mother's '09 Caddy DTS' FPCM just crapped out this summer. Its failure didn't cause any damage to anything. The engine just wouldn't turn over once the module failed...

    Thanks. And given that I've got a '23 Denali with the 6.2, I'm a potential candidate for the engine seizing. And whereas I'm hoping I never have that situation occur, I wouldn't want someone to try to say that having the Range installed contributed to the failure.

    You can presume that, but I wouldn't. Had to have my '01 Z06 recognize a new, OEM window switch. I'd bet that programming requirements for factory replacement parts has only become more necessary lately.
