hp tuners will tell you fuel trims in the scanner, just gotta set it up as well as E percent.
I don't know forsure that it will reset it thou.
hpt scanner is pretty good, lots of setup thou. I find the tech 2 has more of useful diagnostic info.
huh. I'll have to Google water level.
the turn plates are worth it I tried a few didn't cutting board tricks but turn plates are cheap enough these days it feels worth it if you're going to use them a few times.
I've tried to work on this on other cars, but the yukon with fresh tires seems pretty quiet. so I haven't messed with it.
higher end cars have a felt like material on the tire side of the finder liner that is said to go a long way with tire noise. I've not found an aftermarket source for...
I have toe plate with camber gauge as well as turn plates. the problem is my garage floor isn't flat. foundation "settling" they call it around tx haha. plus not being on a lift it's almost impossible to reach any of the adjustments without jacking it up, which throws every off. even then I find...
alot of times louder feels slower too. especially at part throttle as they drone alone.
atleast to my old or ears haha. I tend to like really quiet daily
ugh. noticed my right front tire is showing some Feathering on the outside is less than 10k miles. I knew they didn't actually do the alignment I paid for, but since it went straight I got side tracked and forgot about it. blah guess I Gotta handle that and rotate them to the back or something...
details on your build? not a lot of people drive into working on or rebuilding engines on theses. it's always interesting to hear how it goes.
the other thing they might be talking about is if you find the tank empty during a check, as in there's a leak in the system. you keep adding coolent...
I don't have access to the oem procedure but I replaced mine when I replaced all the hoses. the hybrid side has electric pumps that run with the key forward and the tank is the high point. do it seemed to purge air fine. I have a feeling the warning refers to the type of fluid. you have to make...
I don't know about those specifically but in general aftermarket coils get a bad rap on the tuning boards, since they don't give you dwell time, and if it doesn't match the factory dwell settings it can run hot and shorten the life. aftermarket injectors come with data sheets but aftermarket...
I did a millings too, tossed the t-stat and housing away, got a oem stat and reused the housing.
definitely felt like cheap junk. pump has been good far.
I believe there was a youtube guy that did the drone mod. he get into the sizing. said it worked well.
I have what gm calls the nnp exhaust on my car they have valves that open and close controlled by the ecm. I wish everything had it, it's the best of both worlds.
that's 2015 is direct injection right? google image of intake valves in a direct injection engine and decide if doing everything possible to keep oil out of the intake isn't a good idea.
I didn't even notice that either. we have a newer like 2020 Ford truck at work that doesn't have power door locks and you gotta reach back and unlock them all the time. good thing they are in the front. I wonder if gm ever sold any of these as fleet vehicles without power windows and locks.
if you pop the end off those with a small flat head you can replace just the rubber. ebay has it, it works well. I get 25in so it covers all my cars and a 6 pack is like 3.99$
I started doing it after I was an hour front home walked in a parts store and it was 50$ for two 25in wipers. like...
I can probably look up the wiring diagram later if @mikez71 doesn't already have it handy. I've not been into mine, so I don't know what does what off the top of my head.
I wouldn't be surprised if the bose amp. gave up, on other cars when you have bose everything runs thru their stuff.
