Oh you mean the police horn, it's call an air horn. Like a real low buzzer sound. Yeah I want one of those too.
I want something like this that has an actual spring loaded horn button that's easy to hit. I'm still shopping around to see what I want to get but it's on the list...
Well you certainly called that one. I didn't get the fender measurement yet I keep forgetting. Both axle pads are hitting the frame for sure. This is the driver's side. When I did the free travel mod I left about a 1/4" to 1/2" of flange hanging and that's what it is hitting.
I cut the rest off...
Bottom line is they are all a major btch to lock into place in my experience especially the mounting style you have pictured looks like a flex fuel pump. Really don't know how the metal locks don't rip out of the tank plastic to be honest.
Some here were worried that my actual rear driveline was bottoming out via full collapse of the rear driveshaft slip joint into the rear of the transmission/transfer case. Because it is a 4WD SWB vehicle with a 5" rear drop. My gut tells me that is not what is happening.
These are my suspects...
REEEEAAALY??? Interesting! Doesn’t the computer do a self check on the 4WD electrical system at startup? My dash switch lights up and blinks like it does. I know I am on the next gen platform but I still like to follow your trek here.
