In the googling I’ve done a likely cause is a jank compressor. I told the wife that I’d that’s the issue and there’s no fix other than replacing the compressor then we’ll just have to ignore the message because I’m not spending time and money replacing a compressor that’s just extra weight at...
New pads up front, new sway bar end links and resistors installed on all four corners. Good news is all lights on the dash are now gone as are DIC messages EXCEPT one. Still have the Service Suspension Message on the DIC. Thoughts??
In other news, it seems I need a new cruise control switch...
Agreed. I spent about $380 for the set when the aftermarket junk was like 75 or something. Not sure if it really makes financial sense but if it keeps me from doing the job more often then I guess it’s paying for my time lol wish there was a quality aftermarket that was cheaper than OEM OOORRRRR...
Welp, it’s already started. Passenger front exterior door handle broke as is so very common on these things  spent so much time on the 07 and 13 burns replacing those handles every few years. So hopped on the line tonight and ordered a full set of OEM handles knowing the other 3 are...
Funeral home esky is now tuned and ready to rip :driver:
I didn't have a chance to tinker on her this weekend because I was doing square burby things but this week will be new front brake pads, sway bar end links and wiring in the resistors to get the lights to shut due to non-autoride shocks...
I'll be trying to get some pics snapped this weekend with my iPotato 1.0. Weather has been wet the last couple of days so she's dirty but hopefully tomorrow we can get her cleaned up enough for a .8 megapixel pictar.
Just got her back from tint. It’s dark and she’s filthy. As soon as I get her cleaned up I’ll post fresh pics cuz no one has seen a stock esky with tint before #gamechanger
 No idea. I'm not smart enough to retain information as detailed as that LOL I just know that the platform is GMT400 and on forums and other places on the interwebz you'll see them referred to as OBS. It was certainly a strong era for the GM fullsize trucks and SUVs.
I’d certainly be upset, too! I’d take it back to the shop and voice your concerns and see if you can’t get some traction that way. That’s one of those things that’d cause me to sell it and move on because I’d be so disappointed in how it turned out after the wreck.
