It’s ok, I still have that message on the cluster that looks just like that that I installed in my Silverado. I just press the button until it goes away at every startup. I don’t know why I’d get that message……….:)
In the googling I’ve done a likely cause is a jank compressor. I told the wife that I’d that’s the issue and there’s no fix other than replacing the compressor then we’ll just have to ignore the message because I’m not spending time and money replacing a compressor that’s just extra weight at this point anyway lol

I don't know about the Escalades, but I disconnected the battery, removed two fuses and the ALC was "deleted".

Post up a pic of the fusebox for comparison! Worth 1,000 words.

I'm in the house, nearly naked on the couch and cuddled up with you guys on my laptop. Tahoe is in the shop, way across the parking lot. It's FORTY-FOOKIN'-TWO degrees! No way am I gonna pack my survival gear, harness up the Huskies and risk frostbite for a pic this late at night.

I think that was our high for the day here. I didn’t spend much outside time today no matter how much my Malamute tried to persuade me it was warm. He keeps wanting me to leave the door open.

Ours might have hit the mid 30s yesterday, although it'll be -- relatively -- nice for a few days (40s), until the jet stream sags Wednesday night and the polar vortex comes sweeping down. Predictions are for a high of 0° on Thursday. Going to make sure I get chili fixins with the groceries.
