    Since about half of the wheel is damaged, it looks like something got splashed onto it. ( How are the other wheels?) Depending on the cost to refinish it, it may be cheaper to replace it? Maybe?

    My first impression is...... Your wheels are polished aluminum, with a clear-POWDERCOAT. CLR and other solvents will etch the aluminum that's exposed.... (??) I have a feeling, you will need to have the wheels stripped of the powdercoat & re-coated.

    Batteries?

    When I am out of town for over a week..... I use this to trickle charge my AGM battery. They tend to discharge when idle for a while, where, my old standard battery held it's charge..

    When we moved from Canada ( British Columbia ).... To California, our Dodge 4-door was called a " Plydodge"... Front was a Dodge, rear was a Plymouth. Made in Canada. ( I'll dig up a photo )

    Sweet....... Your 'purchase story' is similar to my story, ..... 6 years ago I bought an '05 Yukon XL SLT ( Graphite color)..... My ride has been perfect with 176,000 on the clock, now. You have a nice piece!! Hopefully, your new technology will stay reliable. ( get a Tech 2 )

    After moving from Kalifornia, ..First thing I noticed...... Here in Florida, I don't get any odor while pumping gas, as I did in California. Florida has no "recovery" ....

    Home connections are limited, to the old hardware buried, between you and the main source. It took me 3 times to get the latest router..... They try to give you the old crap, to dump it.

    Not to be negative..... just cautious.... Our new Infiniti came with Dunlop tires... ( $220.00 a tire) The description is same as these Continentals... Infiniti chose to use the Dunlops because this tire made the car smoother, better handling, etc, to SELL. The expensive Dunlops lasted barely...

    I remember putting on the Michelin Primacy tires on our ( sold) 1999 Infiniti I30 . The tires were so quiet, I heard an increase of wind noise.. That's because the old tires were making enough sound to hide it.

    Thats interesting... Is your 'trick' due to the vent in the gas gun? ( Florida doesn't use a gas gun vent..... Florida knows, that the design of the gun vent is useless. When I was in California, the gas smell was strong pumping gas. No odor in Florida.

    Michelins are great...... But... also.... for cars..... The Michelin Primacy tires are WONDERFULLY QUIET... But not sure if you can get them for larger wheels....

    A few years ago I had my vent stuff replaced..... ( '05 5.3 ) But I still had the same issue at the gas station from time to time..... A few months ago, I replaced the purge valve ( top & front of injector manifold - easy to replace)...... My fuel problem is 90% solved. ( There were pellets...

    I thought of the sway bar bushing also..... My sway bar is new. ( Installed by a very good shop, and they greased the bushing ).... I am not worried..... But I'll keep an eye on it..... ( shock & bushing )
