I have posted my 'little trick'..... run the rear cam through the rear vent 'rubber flaps', ( behind rear little speaker)...... to the exterior vent cover...... I notched a gap on the edge of the ext. cover ( so wire won't get crushed)..... then through the factory wire harness cover ( for... -

Unless you tow the boat, etc., everyday, why not, do a temporary mount using Velcro? -

What type of rear camera do you have? Is the rear for backing up, or 'dash cam' ? I mounted my rear 'dash cam' onto my glass, that opens, on the lift gate.... But I figured a way to do it so the cables are like a factory install. -

2005 Chevy Tahoe- Window Switch Broke Off- Needing Help
up dated pics..... ( The 'catch' to hold the cover up, is a 'picture hanger-hinge' that fits perfect into door panel seam. An added plus..... I don't accidentally hit the darn seat adjuster button... -
Useless Information
Kenny Youngblood and I spent a couple hours, with Garlits, where no one can go... His office and then his back shops..... He was showing how his latest battery powered dragster works, looking at some vintage-Garlits stuff, etc.... It was a 'historic' tour, for sure!! Then Kenny walked me...- mountie

2005 Chevy Tahoe- Window Switch Broke Off- Needing Help
I fabricated a water-proof cover..... Opening the door in the rain will douse the switches with water. I found a nylon 'matching material' then sprayed a water proofer on it. The 'raised photo doesn't show, that the material was more flat against the side..... so switches are not interfered... -
Useless Information
Drove from West Palm Beach to Ocala, Florida ( Garlits Museum)... and back... 485 miles round trip..... used 3/4 tank total..... Average speed 75 to 80 mph on the freeway. I'm impressed !!- mountie

Not a Borla fan
My memory is, ( on my '05 Yukon)..... The downstream O2 sensors rarely effect drive-ability that much, as you are concerned with your ride, even if it throws a code..- mountie

Confirm if your oxygen sensors were properly replaced...... Do have any warnings on your dash? A K&N filter won't change your mileage much ... A Borla exhaust will just make your truck louder, but not much of a mileage difference that you seem to think is much worse. The biggest gas mileage...- mountie

Nice stuff !! But, I'd rather listen to my stereo and not the exhaust note, if this system is louder than stock. If there was an exhaust that was quiet on residential streets, but "opened up" only when on acceleration, I'd consider that ,for performance. I don't know if there is such a...- mountie
