If you had a do-over, Would you buy your duramax all over again?

The Dmax is the best thing about this vehicle. Without it, I wouldn't own it..... Over 2 years, not one whit of a problem....

    Dealer oil change $$$

When you've seen how many mistakes "Fast Lane oil change" uneducated techs have made on diesels.... (Mostly putting the wrong gasser oil in them...Or assuming they are an HD and putting 15W-40 in them or putting in the wrong amounts from way to little to way to much...) you'd understand why my...

These 2023 power light up steps look fugly. Am I alone in this?

I've not had one person in over 2 years that doesn't say this looks awesome at night along with the lighted front emblem. Unplug em if you don't like them....

    Dealer oil change $$$

Everybody above advertises these "Specials" and "Coupons" but none of them apply to DMax vehicles. I highly doubt you can get 10 changes for 660.00 on the LM2.... I've never seen dealer "Coupons" that give you a discount on Diesel vehicles.

Battery Life when parked, 2023 Tahoe

If you are going to leave it for months, put it on a good CTEK tender and don't worry about it. We have done this for years for seasonal vehicles and not one dead battery or Issues. Why take a chance or worry about it?

New GM SUV Buyer, How Good Are These Cars? Long Term Owners?

21 Dmax ultimate. A few minor issues handled well by my dealer. Been enjoying this vehicle for over 2 years with no fears or show stopping events. Runs great, exceptional fuel mileage, didn't pay over sticker, hauls the world around in comfort, best road trip vehicle I've ever had. If you never...

    fuel filter change @ dealer

Yup, this world is a painful place if you don’t know how to do anything yourself. And you’d be surprised how many people really don’t know which end of the wrench to use.

2022 Yukon Denali Diesel fuel injector failure

Dixie is my dealer in FL when I'm there in the winter. They don't know me from Adam and have done the majority of warranty work on my vehicle at no charge and with a smile. For all the bashing most dealers get, these guys have treated me well also.

21 Yukon xl owner considering Yukon sle duramax

Just did 300+ miles in mine yesterday, 29.1 avg at 80 MPH. Most economy cars won't crack that number.... As a long time diesel owner, there is no other choice for this vehicle. Runs effortlessly......

    Removal of rear taillights

has anything changed in the taillights between 2021 and 2023? I'm Swapping mine for a 2023. Getting too much local flak from other vehicles and even LEO on not being able to see my brake lights thru smoked lenses. Not Illegal, but not desirable either.

Connected services prompt constantly popping up

Do you REALLY think they will do this? What are they going to learn? That I go to 7-11 everyday or sometimes when no one is at a 4 way that I don't use my turn signal?

    Gas vs Diesel fuel price

Well, that belt life has been extended to 200K miles and 99% of Dmax owners won't keep them that long. I will save far more on fuel and not have the constant worry in the back of my mind if and when a lifter will implode, or an injector takes a dump while I'm on a 1500-mile trip with my family...

    Native navigation

    21 Denali interior rattles.

    2021 Denali High Miles

@Marky Dissod You obviously didn't read the 2nd line of my vehicle signature. And actually, most Jag(uar) owners take very good care of their vehicles as they can afford to take them to the dealer for most maintenance and service. They also lead the industry with 5/60 Bumper to Bumper and 5/60...

Carrying extra fuel in an SUV

Except some things cannot receive 5 gal in less than a minute.... I bought one of the wand things too and it was a great buy. Pumps quickly, mine had an actual gas pump nozzle as a nozzle, and you control the flow 100%. Much easier to fuel things like Jet Skis and Generators.
