My brake pedal is once again squeaky when I press it. It's been doing it for several years now, but only when it's like low 40s or below. Once the interior warms up, noise is gone. I've gone down there spraying with liquid wrench, but I haven't been able to make it stop. I do have the adjustable pedal feature (I'm not sure if that's the issue?)

Anyone had/have this problem? Everything works fine, it's just a nuisance hearing that squeaking when braking.

Thanks. I guess the problem is I can't really figure out what's causing the noise. It's pretty annoyingly tight down there. Last night I removed the kick panel just to see what I could see, LoL.

I was originally wondering if I could replace the pedal with a non-motorized version, thinking maybe that's where the problem lies? I had never pressed those pedal buttons until last night...

you can get spray white lithium and it will have a nozzle like a wd40 can just spray all the contact/pivot points, use your hand to press the pedal while under there with a flashlight to see where things are moving. any type of supply store should have some auto parts, hardware store, ace, harbor freight, etc
and while you are at it spray the door hinges

So I bought me a tube of old school lithium grease. I went down there and added liberal amounts on what I "thought" may be making the squeaky noise. But nothing really changed.

I'm looking at this website and I'm thinking it may be the top pivot point? https://www.gruvenparts.com/gm-brass-brake-and-gas-pedal-adjuster-gears/

Not sure if I'll be able to reach up there. Stuff under there is very awkward to see and feel...:-(

I adjusted the brake pedal all the way up because I originally thought it was the adjustable pedal mechanism the issue. Tomorrow morning I'll see if there's any chance.

Otherwise I'll try to lubricate the top pin.
