Escalade side mirrors on a Tahoe LTZ!

The cameras can be utilized. Just need to source the camera pigtail harness connector and land those wires between that and the door connector. Once inside the cabin, it’s a matter of connecting to a module that can process the image and link with the screen. I’ve seen it done by a member...

Can I replace my console lid with OEM wireless charging lid?

It depends if the wires are landed at the instrument panel side of the center console connector. A quicker way is to order one of @pgamboa retrofit PnP harnesses. It pulls the power from the 12v outlet. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Squeaky armrest/center console lid

Glad you got it sorted out. Adhesive foam is the duct tape of interior trim panels. Random question, where is the 110v outlet located on suvs with the front jump seat? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Setina push bar on 2015 Yukon

That’s correct, the 1A Auto Mirrors don’t offer a power fold option. I haven’t found a manufacturer that does for the late model suvs. I’ve made a harness that can enable the running and cargo lamps. The running lamps can also be made to function as a turn signal if desired with a separate...

How do I remove Esky mirror cover?

Glad you got it figured out. Sorry I haven’t had a chance to respond to you...been busy building harnesses and getting them out the door with my free time.

Escalade side mirrors on a Tahoe LTZ!

I have not looked into it further. I did see where a member had a shop splice into them when they installed an Echomaster type camera system. They have a fisheye type view. You’d have to decide if that’d be acceptable. In short, the wiring can be done. You’d have to determine the interface...

Escalade side mirrors on a Tahoe LTZ!

For those with DL8 mirrors (heated and power glass only), I’ve found a factory Escalade mirror without the blind spot feature. You can now enjoy the larger surface area with the additional DL3 features and not have the blind spot indicator in the glass. I can order these new from my supplier...

Escalade side mirrors on a Tahoe LTZ!

You won’t need a new switch if you already have folding mirrors. Do your mirrors also have the turn signal in the glass and the auto-dim feature as well as the puddle lamp? If so, those should be DL3 mirrors. If that’s the case, the Escalade mirrors will be a direct swap. No other harnesses...

Escalade side mirrors on a Tahoe LTZ!

To get both those options to work, you’ll need to swap door harnesses with ones I make, add a harness inside the cabin and swap in the correct power fold switch. Basically, it grabs those missing circuits from the BCM, X61A junction block, etc. and brings them to the doors. Then carries them...

    Adding DL3 power folding mirrors

In short, yes. You’ll swap out your door harnesses with the ones I provide. Then you’ll add the cabin side harness along with one wire that lands in the fuse block in the engine bay. The cabin side harness closely follows the install procedure for the RZY harness some trucks need for tow...

Installing fog lights in 2015-2018 Tahoe

Thanks very much for the kind words. I’m happy I can help members add features with factory functionality. Pgamboa and I work closely on various ways to add features and the associated wiring necessary. He focuses on the 2014-2018 truck platform and I on the 2015-2019 suv platform.

I don’t have any more of them on my vehicle, but here is a link where the member I did the wiring for the mirrors has some pics. https://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/219111-looking-for-satisfied-yukon-owners-for-magazine/

    Adding DL3 power folding mirrors

Thanks for posting the link to MT Elk Hunter’s Yukon. I wasn’t sure if that’s allowed here. 1AAuto has different versions of the mirrors. They may have one that matches your vehicle options. 1. Your LT Suburban most likely has factory DL8 mirrors with power adjust and heat. That should...

    Adding DL3 power folding mirrors

I was actually working on those for a member on the GM-Trucks forum, MT Elk Hunter. He posted a number of picks with them installed on his suburban there. He also tows and was looking for a viable option and settled on the 1AAuto mirrors. These are the ones he purchased. Note they are manual...

    Stock HID 2018 Tahoe ??

I know. Nothing is simple these days. Obviously, the entire headlamp assembly will bolt right in. As for the rest of the projector similarities, I can’t get a good enough look at them while they’re inside the headlamp housing. However, you can see in the photos where the front and rear...

    Stock HID 2018 Tahoe ??

Ha! Well, I’m partial to the factory headlamp assemblies (but not the bulbs). So I swapped the halogen ones on my Yukon SLT for the Denali HIDs and created a custom harness to address the circuit differences. I used Osram 66340 CBI HID bulbs. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
