    Good link. So in 4 auto, there is still some clutch involvement even though it says it is in 2 wheel drive until slip is detected. Sounds like it is best to leave in 2 wh drive unless raining or slippery.

    My friend just swapped his Silverado Z71 Duratracs ( noisy) for Michelin Defenders. I drove it from Vermont to Jersey a some rain storms and they were excellent. Very confidence inspiring. They were quiet as well.

    Yep. I have seen this a lot. Where I bought my Tahoe they added that tint, some anti-rust device, free tires for life yada yada $3495! Plus a 5K market adjustment. Mine was in transit so I was able to get them to drop the $3495.

    BTW...I am totally jealous of your GT4. I am jonesing for the Boxster version ( in NJ a Boxster is allowed on the Motosport track, but not the 911 Cab). Won't happen but can dream. I have had a Boxster and two 911's. The thought of that 911 motor in my Boxster!!

    Very cool! Another mount I have never seen. So you are using Velcro on the windshield and sticking the other piece to the 3M tape side of the mount so you can remove it. Did you peel the 3M side off first or stick the tape to it as is? can you post a photo of the V1 mounted on it?

    I knew going in that I was not getting ACC. I will miss it. it worked flawlessly on my Mercedes ( traded on this Tahoe). Ditto on the HUD. Misds both items some but not the deal breaker.

    I can’t say if these are the best. I guess that is a subjective matter. Like ATrainTX , I researched WT vs Husky. Both get lots of great reviews. I suspect WT had to up their game and thus the new HP. I have also had problems with WT deforming some , but not enough to turn me off from the brand...
