I still have one in my garage somewhere for the Escalade. The wife doesnt like it for some reason. Probably bc the trunk is always so full of shit it can never be closed...
NP. The thing is on a torsion cranked front end your limit would still be the same amount collapsed @ the bump stops and the same amount extended at the limit of the stock A arms, so I don't see any reason why you would need to be lifted to run those. Ideally you are close to the middle of the...
You can run 5100's on the front. They are typically listed as "0-2
" lift or some such notation.
Hmm This one is saying 2-2.5. You used to be able to get that info for the 4600s also.
Part Number:24-186643
Collapsed Length (IN)12.54
Extended Length (IN)16.30

Shocks should only effect resting ride height in any meaningful way in a scenario when you have air bladders like the stock auto ride system or additional helper springs like Monroe Load Adjusting Shocks.
That is called the chevy lean. Not uncommon obviously. Drivers side tank weighs that side down. Is the tank full? Check it nearly empty?
You could use either 4600 or 5100s. They are valved differently. Linear vs digressive.

Linear Valving
Liner valving is characterized by a high flow rate at...
Nice simple solutions. Need to drop the pan sometime soon for a filter so I'll have to do these. Thanks for the info! I always planned to do a screw on filter. I have had these laying around for an embarrassingly long time...
change your fluid. keep it cool. Don't beat on it. You can do a vette servo and aftermarket trans cooler like a trukool 40k or something if you want to try to get the most out of it.
Some can last 200k+ if well taken care of/babied.
I rounded off the nut on the first pulley installer tool I bought and didnt get it flush. I have a tendency to over torque things so I try to err on the other side. I may just be being too cautious. A little heat on the pulley with a torch next time might help too. I was using 2 combo wrenches...
I've got a parts store pulley tool. Damn thing takes waay more effort then I feel like it should. The pulley should be flush? Shoot I've got another mm or so to go then.
Nice. I struggled so much with the pulley on my ps pump. Didn't get it all the way seated at first and it ate belts and squealed. Now it's not eating belts but doesn't squeal until its warm. Driving the wife nuts. What's your secret?
Also what pulley?
True. My trans was replaced @ 120k. Had no fluid and filter changes before they started having issues with it. I've replaced fluid twice since I've owned it and its around 210k now.
Having some weird issue with the trans not going into drive occasionally. Seems like it may happen mostly first thing in the morning when cold?
I've replaced the shifter cable before and that looks solid.
Shifts fine. Works normal more often then not.
Always seems to be an issue when it's...
Anyone know where to find a replacement retainer clip for the brake pedal to booster rod/brake light switch? I lost the damn thing.
Some pics I found on the net that are similar.
My 05 Escalade ESV AWD with a 200k mile LQ9 just averaged about 16mpg on a 10 hour trip to and from San Diego. I could probably get it to do 18 mpg highway in ideal conditions. Tends to do in the 11-12 mpg city. Not sure if you want me to skew your poll since its clearly not a tahoe.
