What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

My heater core fittings blew up on me (plastic gets brittle eventually with heat cycles) hours away from home in the santa cruz mountains with the whole family in the rig. Clamped the hose to the heater core pipe directly, and filled up radiator with water bottles/melted ice in the cooler I had...

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Those huskys look pretty good. I have rugged ridge mats in my Jeep and they fit like a glove. I have Lloyd Luxe Carpet Mats in my Escalade. They fit well, are very plush, but do move around a bit more than I'd like. They are pricey though. The kids are hell on them though, if I were to do it...

Damn! Glad you are still alive and no major injuries. Take it easy for a few days and get checked out. I am sure you are feeling some stiffness by now.

Transporting 20' wood on top of Suburban

20'? If you have more than a couple I'd just rent a truck with a rack. Cheap insurance.

Anyone feel the Bilstein 4600s aren't that great?

Well I wouldn't go that far! (Foxes/Vikings/QA1's should be a tier above 4600s) They are definitely the best stock style replacement in the price range though.

    Charged AC not blowing cold

If it wss empty it has a leak. Did you fix the leak? Replace the accumulator and orifice tube? Put gauges on it and report back.

    Charged AC not blowing cold

Sounds like a clutch switch... thats like a $20 part. Unplug the harness to it and stick a paperclip in it and see if the clutch engages. I had this issue recently with my OBS What year is your truck?

    Charged AC not blowing cold

You have gauges? What readings are you getting high and low side? Is your compressor kicking on at all? Do you have a scan tool that can read error codes? Could be blend door related possibly.

    Painted the calipers

Search engine works! I always paint my calipers when I have a wheel off for brake job. I like Black though. Anything is better than rust, but I do think bright red stock brakes is a little odd.

    Underhood LED light?

OEM has a mercury switch IIRC. Could use that. Or there are other switch options like how your lights are triggered when you open your doors.

Osram CBB or Philips HID X-treme Vision gen II

I have Osram CBI on my caddy. Nice bulbs. Looks like the CBB is the latest iteration, slightly more lumens, and cooler temp. From what I understand they are similar. CBB has slightly cooler color (not really 7000k blue) and philips puts out a tiny bit more lumens. Which is more important to you?

Need help finding a leveling/lift kit for. “17 Tahoe with rear air suspension.

Sounds to me like OP would like to retain rear air shocks functionality.

Need help finding a leveling/lift kit for. “17 Tahoe with rear air suspension.

I googled the lift. No shock extenders included from what I see. Pick up some shock extenders, and assuming the ride height sensors are the same as the older trucks some longer threaded rod from the hardware store and you are golden.

Need help finding a leveling/lift kit for. “17 Tahoe with rear air suspension.

Pretty much all of them say that. Does it come with shock extenders? You'll need to correct the rear height sensor. If it is the same as the older trucks then it is fairly simple. Im sure someone will chime in with more details.

    Rear spring selection help needed!

Maybe this changed in newer models, but on my old denali I trimmed my MOOG springs and had no trouble keeping them in place. A lot of lowered guys trim their springs and have no trouble with them to my knowledge.

    Headlight Projector Retrofit

I have not retrofit myself, but I have spent a decent amount of time researching options. Stock style aftermarket HID D1R headlamp replacements for my '05 Escalade are $600+. With no upgrades, no bulbs, no projectors. It is a Reflector style HID setup. Mine are starting to haze on the inside...

You must trim or bend the bar that locates the ride height sensor.

    Belltech 5321 Doesn't Seem like 2" Lower???

Did you not adjust the sensors? The bags are probably maxed out thinking the truck is overloaded and trying to compensate.
