im sure that is the case for any performance enhancing mods that you may do. But i dont believe that would be the case with cosmetic mods such as a blackout package over the chrome pieces
Have you figured out exactly how much time you feel you can get away with your current arrangement without needing the new rig ?
Furthermore, might wanna double check on Monday if the dealer you were talking with still has it available. Cause as I am sure you have read, these dealerships n...
If you need a new vehicle within the next 4-6 months, take the option that you have in hand and available to you now before somebody else gets it from under you. Budget 2-4k for "aftermarket mods" to tweek the appreance to what you prefer.
If it's not a NEED, then hold out for what you...
Obviously there are still some true salesmen, though few n far between, who know the value of a relationship to maintain their list of clientele for repeat orders, which goes a very long way to be successful in the auto sales game.
The two dealerships I have orders at, will not be receiving...
Dealers are worthless nowadays. You need to ask them the questions and be proactive. They are not going to be true salesmen and inform you with what is happening with your order or what adjustments need to be made to possibly have it fulfilled.
4 weeks is fantastic timing. Been waiting since August for similar orders at two separate dealers. One is a high volume and the other not so much.
The non-high volume dealer is the one who called me with an allocation if I adjust my order from a SWB to an XL, which I took.
If GM assigns a dealer their allocations on Thursday, and that dealer in turn needs to submit their orders to GM by that saturday/Monday using those allocation numbers, rationally thinking, GM should be able to process that order within 2 weeks and begin to establish a TPW. Again, this is...
@firsttimetahoe while I appreciate that, the difference I have now is I was verbally told my dealer has an allocation in place for me and submitted the order which should be accepted by GM due to that. I have been already waiting since August due to constraints on my order, but don't think I...
Going to assume there isn't really a clear cut answer for this, but maybe some estimated times ?
Dealer told me on 3/18 they had allocation and order was submitted. One would think within 2 weeks the event code would change if the allocation was true. Anybody have any experience how long it...
They won't show proof, but hopefully they are somewhat willing to give a ballpark number for their waiting list. Allocations are week to week and item specific.
End of the day, it's a dealership, so you gotta expect some BS with their answer.
If you need it quick, then keep the options as limited as possible. Also double check with the dealer you goto to see how long their waiting list is and how many allocations they have been getting per week.
@Will2022 does the Maryland dealer have an open allocation, or just talking an order for you? Huge difference... might want to ask how many people are on the waiting list before giving the deposit (refundable or not)
Not the best option, but have you used some of the configuration programs offered on some websites? I found carid.com to be the best so far

Does anybody know if Husky only does their mats in Black? Waiting on TPW for my Denali XL with Walnut interior, and have read that husky has been the best option against Gm / weathertech for interior mats but they only show black on the website.
Congrats - the website pictures do not do justice of how well that looks. And its completely different looking in the sun compared to the dark grey day pictures you had taken when leaving the MS dealer.
