Eh, that's not my concern. In my home, the law says I can defend my castle - at least where I live. Out in the driveway, not so much. I know for a while in TX deadly force was authorized to prevent theft of property, I'm not sure if that has been repealed or restricted in some way. I just don't...- tRidiot

I agree, Python two-way paging alarm with all the bells and whistles here (on 3 vehicles), as well as the Smartstart feature (on my Hoe) that allows me to remote start from anywhere and also get all the alerts on my phone. Oh, and about going out to have a word... just don't. I know the...- tRidiot

New dash cluster.
I need a separate voltmeter for each alt. lol Or at least one for each half of the electrical system. Right now I have this: But it's only attached to the vehicle 12V system... I need a place to put another one for the stereo electrical system.... maybe I'll look into that. -
Is there some digital kill switch I can put on my Tahoe?
I too have the whole Directed package - remote start with 2-way paging alarm, the alarm notifications on my phone and such... it's nice peace of mind. I wish I'd done it all on my Z as well, the only part I don't have on that one is the satellite. But 2-way paging alarm is definitely the way to go.- tRidiot

He got back to me first thing this morning, he says they're fine, they just drifted during transport and they will re-zero when powered up. Super fast response, super helpful. -

I'll need to figure out what color to do mine if/when I do this. With a black Tahoe... I don't think I want them black. My wheels are kind of a copperish, no, more like a bronzish color. I don't know that I want them to match the wheels, either.- tRidiot

Arrived today, super fast, great service by Digital Dash Solutions (aka www.fixmygauges.com). They're not the cheapest, but damn, this thing is BEAUTY-MOUS! Pic most assuredly doesn't do it justice.... I'll take some more tomorrow night when I get to install it and fire it up with the new... -

No, I was surprised. I found some pits in my side window, too, they tried breaking that first, then moved to the back window, and I think when my alarm went off, it scared them and they bailed. Actually left a zipper bag with a digital camera in it that they had stolen from another vehicle. -

I think I paid 100 or 125 for mine about 8 or 9 years ago. <edit> Mine wasn't broken, but some skeezer decided to try to smash it with a rock and left big ol' scratches in it. -

Help me prepare for my motor swap.
Saw my installer today at another friend's house, he has the motor and trans in - needs to put on the intake and do all the fiddlies and swap my fuel pump. Prolly gonna be Tuesday he says (2 days). I was hoping for tomorrow, but Tuesday works.- tRidiot

Interior parts replacement - window switch bezel
I guess it's kind of a weak spot, I know it take some force when I slam the door, and that's when the back usually pops out. I hope it's not broken on the panel side, I've never taken it apart yet to look. I'll have it back in a couple of days anyway, it sounds like. -
