dropped the spare to put on so i can go get the right rear tire patched tomorrow. (surprisingly the spare is in super good shape so when i get hew tires in the future i will not need to swap the best one to the spare)
Local salvage yard just posted a PPV with a complete set of steelies and center caps 2 days ago. Messaged them just for kicks and they are already gone.
Got the GoRhino push bar delivered today. Since I will not have time to install it until Sunday I went ahead and coated the inside of the bottom tube with Fluid Film. Will also be drilling drain holes before the install as well.
got my dash cam and motion detector installed. The wire hanging down is power for my other dash cam which suction cup mounts and has an inside the cabin camera.
next up is to figure out cable routing for the rear window camera.
Thanks for the link. I did some testing and it looks like I can use the always hot 2amp spot in the fuse box and for the switched power I'll need to make a jumper to go from the upfitter box to the connector for the switched power.
Once the front cameras are done I can work on getting the back...
So I need to install my dash cams. I have the Rexing V1P and the Rexing Smart hardwire kit. In my PPV, I tapped power in the overhead console since i was only looking for switchable power. With the new Smart Hardwire kit I need both constant and switchable power so that i can use Parking Mode on...
i'll probably end up with a Go Rhino on the 2014 since (as you say) complete Setina units are hard to find and Setina does not sell parts directly to consumers. I had to buy two used Setina bars to get all the parts for my PPV.
Arrg. Discovered the front bumper on my 2014 is not drilled for a license plate. And in Texas a front plate is required. So when i get my plates I get to drill into my nice smooth bumper to install my front plate. :nolol::biggun::killer::Jedi::Rant:
i had the same thing on my PPV. I swapped the 1 and 3 coils and still had the misfire on number 1. So i swapped the plugs and wires on 1 and 3 and the misfire moved to number 3. I went ahead and replaced all the plugs and wires and cured the misfire until I totaled the PPV.
I got the replacement cables/power supply so i can reinstall my dash cams with the parking monitor. I'll have to figure out how to run the cable for the rear window cam since i cannot fish it straight through the head liner like I did on the PPV.
Also survived the hurricane with only a small...
Before you buy something, pull your current radio out and look at the wiring harness. In my 2013 PPV the harness was super basic and did not match up to ANYTHING that claimed to be "plug and play". I really wanted that OttoNavi unit in your first link but it was not compatible with the radio in...
Also today. I thought my fog lights were not working so I bought new ones, only to figure out that I was pushing the wrong button. They do work! But at least now I have spares. (LEDs, may swap them in anyway)
