What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I had the same experience. They look cool, but they are super noisy. I currently have Yokagama Geolaner AT G015 and they are nice for 90% city, 10% off road. Plus, they are three-peak mountain snowflake blah blah cerified, meaning they suppose to be good in snow. I live in NorCali, so I can not...

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

It's an awesome flaring tool. It's bit pricy, but compared to cheap chineese one from HF, that is night and day.

Also, went to a local junkyard the other day to get some bits and pieces and saw a real example of automotive gore: And a very interesting artefact:

Got a local powder coating shop to paint my calipers and towing hooks. Also, finally replaced 2 hoses on the picture with stainless steel ones.

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I knew that there's no direct fit option for our model years, so I had to find the cheapest substitute that closely resembles our plastic shields. I think $75 is not bad

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

OK, this is GM 23135960. $75 on fleebay shipped brand new. Comes as a protection package on 2014+ trucks and SUVs. I just had to cut the sides and bend the lower edge to fit the frame. Top holes match the ones on the frame. I obviously had to drill the bottom holes. Overall. it took me longer to...

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Got a new console lid from 2002 Escalade (with a small compartment inside), and wrapped it in leather. Also made it soft to touch by gluing a soft wrapping material (closed celled foam) underneath the leather. Here are the results. PS. If you are short on patience, don't even think of starting...

    Skid Plates

I've got the same dilemma. I am leaning towards custom made aluminum fuel tank skid plates (1/4" thick), and want to find something similar in shape at junkyard for the front engine skid plate and make it fit. 2014+ Aluminum Front engine skid DOES NOT FIT!!! I tried, it's way too large. A lot...

    No Power at OBD Port

100% Cigar fuse. If it keeps blowing, most probably a coin dropped into the lighter and shorting the circuit

    No Magnuson/Edelbrock for me :-(

Today I unfortunately found out, that neither Magnuson, no Edelbrock have California legal system for 2005 Escalade LQ9. I called both today. Magnuson has an amazing system for my truck, but it's not California legal (NO CARB EO). Suck! I also called Edelbrock. Their system is not compatible...

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

O'Reily is the closest one to my house, so I buy there coolant and some misc parts that I need RIGHT NOW. Engine oil I usually buy in Walmart, their prices are always the lowest (for Mobile 1 Full Synthetic High Mileage), and free delivery on orders over $45. So, 4 cans of oil ship free...

Yup. I actually have the boost valve and a bunch of other hydraulic plate updates ready to be installed as well. Just waiting for the next AT oil change to remove the pan and install all those things

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Strange. I did it twice, and it was easy both times. I unscrewed 2 bolts that hold the exhaust shield/hanger, and it made a huge difference. I actually had installed the Corvett servo first, and then replaced it with the one from 4L75 (it's a little bit smaller than Corvett). The Corvett servo...
