Ditto. They really freshen up the back end.

    Rough Idle in Rain

It's really unfortunate that you're not tripping a code... It's a bit of a wild goose chase at this point. You could always start with the sensors that are easier to reach... Unplug them, inspect them for cracks and/or corrosion, squirt a bit of grease in them, and click them back together...

    Rough Idle in Rain

Your knock sensor (and other engine-related sensors) would be excellent places to start. I would get a tube of dialectric grease to put into the connectors before snapping them back together. This should help displace any water getting into the connector in the future.

    Rough Idle in Rain

Personally I would be leaning toward something loose as opposed to bad. A loose electrical connector or plug wire allowing water to splash into it during wet surface driving? Have you driven it today and it was fine? No codes, I assume?

    Torsion Bar Crossmember Bushing Replacement

Nice write-up, thanks. Where did you get the bushings? I bought the entire assembly and had to press the new bushings out of the new assembly to put into the truck.

How to unlink trailer turn lights from stop light

Hello, The 4-pin adapter would still retain the stop/turn lights together. I think you will need to re-wire and make your own connection for this. I'm pretty sure there's no way around it. If I were accomplishing this project, I would get the turn signal wires from inside the cabin and the...

2003 Yukon Where Is My Coolant Going?!?!?

That would be frustrating. That's a lot of miles on an original water pump! Have you had your oil tested by a place like Blackstone? Just to ensure you don't have a weak head gasket? For that matter, have you looked in your coolant tank and at your oil to make sure there's no visible mixing...

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I've seen that bridge and waterfall! I love the U.P.! I lived in the Auburn Hills area for a couple of years a few years ago... May be moving back up there again soon (auto industry work related). We'll have to meet up if I do... 73's, Adam. KA1MSC

Compass and thermometer in mirror not working

I have the same problem with mine... I know that the instrument clusters are prone to display failure issues (I had mine repaired) and wondered if the mirror has the same issue. I'll probably pull one at the junkyard and find out, but I have not yet seen anyone do a DIY on disassembling the...

2004 Tahoe LT Front Suspension technical knowledge help needed.

Hello, I just replaced everything in my front end over the past few months... All in my garage and all with fairly basic hand tools. It was all fairly straightforward. The biggest pain for me were the lower ball joints, as they were in there pretty darn good! But some monstrous persuasion...

03 Yukon throwing all kinds of warning lights

Hello, A first suggestion I would make (as would many others on here) is to check your grounds. Heck, even remove them, clean the surfaces and retighten them. They are the cause of many a headache on this forum.

    Yay! or Ghey?

I like those blacked out ones, as well... eBay, you say? I may pick up a set of those if they're not ridiculously overpriced.

2000 Yukon, had front end work done and now steering feels off at high speeds?

This is a very good point... If you are unable to do the work yourself, you are at the mercy of mechanics. If they say it is done and done correctly, you have no choice but to trust them or go elsewhere. That being said, surely you can go to another shop and have them take a spin with you...

2000 Yukon, had front end work done and now steering feels off at high speeds?

He charged you $100 to adjust the steering box? Ugh... Welcome to the forum, where we all hope to save you lots of money. If you take it to another mechanic, just have them drive with you and see what they think. Surely they'll do that for free. If it was not sloppy but now is, then...

    What A Deal

My Yukon is an AWD and it has buttons... Different that the 4x4 buttons, but buttons nonetheless. But it looks like you're right after looking at AWD Denali dashes on Google images... That's strange. Would someone go look at this thing and end the speculation, already? Oh, and bring $1k with...

    What A Deal

My 2003 Yukon has the newer style wheel. Also the 4WD/AWD switch is not present where it would normally be on the 2003. Maybe an early 2003 or something?

    DRL bulbs that last?

Just out of curiosity, why use 3157? When I Googled looking to see what bulb belongs in my 2003 Yukon, I was pointed to the 4114 by several sites. I recently replaced my DRLs with 4114 Sylvania Zevo (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01A77U85C/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_dp_T2_NPDDzbJSWQ0V9)

    Squeaky noise by the dashboard

    Squeaky noise by the dashboard

+1 to the blend door actuator, but if it is temperature related, that would be on the passenger side, correct? The driver side blend door adjusts defrost/vent/floor, I believe. What side of the dash is the sound coming from? Left or right?

    paint

Avery Dennison has a great product, as well, from what I have read. I have ordered a half dozen times or so from Vvivid and have never had a problem with the seller. I think most of the eBay "sellers" are the company itself selling them out of NY... Not sure why they have different usernames...
