I agree with you and should've worded all this differently from the beginning. I was worried about wasting the expensive paint due to it not sticking to the plastic, so I tested the white I had on a little spot. It was so close that I decided to just go ahead and do it. I figured worst case, I'll just do it over.
Got it. The paint will stick to the plastic just fine though as long as you prep it right, especially since it's already been painted. You won't be painting to the plastic, you'll be painting to the primer as long as you don't sand all the way through. Good luck with whatever you do, hope it comes out great.

I gave it a looksy this morning. I think it's gonna be good. I'll mess with it more after work today. The question now will be whether I need to paint the black parts so the match the gray ones I'm gonna turn black...? I think I'll pull one gray piece and hit the back of it with the black to see how they match up. Would be nice to just leave the black Denali pieces alone.

I went for a short drive today...

And I saw a waterfall.

Best of all, I got 17.59 MPG for the round trip. :D

I've seen that bridge and waterfall! I love the U.P.! I lived in the Auburn Hills area for a couple of years a few years ago... May be moving back up there again soon (auto industry work related).

We'll have to meet up if I do...

73's, Adam.

I got my fire extinguisher mounted in the back. And finally decided to remove the Denali door badges. Still need to remove a little more stubborn adhesive and polish the area up a bit, but I'm already glad I took them off.

Those are the only badges I wanted on mine but mine are kind of rare black ones. Then I added SUPERCHARGED over the top of the Denali in black also. Perfect.
