    SOLVED Odd shaking initial drive

Latest and the greatest. So no, that shake came back. As of today, and I say nothing, know nothing - I replaced front Doorman struts with KYB, took off to O'Reilley's - no shake. I'll reconfirm after few more days of driving. Temps are near freezing. Doormans leaked out in the front after...

    Cancelling magneride

Just FYI, Doorman struts leaked out after 3600 miles. I had them replaced today with KYB strut plus. PERFECT!

    Strutmasters Magneride

    1. Make sure you actually have magnaride. Check in the glove box, if you have Z95 suspension code or Z55 2. I just replaced my Dorman magnaride complete struts with KYB Monotube Max complete struts. No, they are not magnaride, I had to use plug ins, into the strut harness plug, to avoid Check...

    Which front shocks to choose?

Ok, so I replaced my magnaride Dormans with KYB SRM4079 Truck-Plus Complete Couple things: 1. I goofed when I bought Dorman magnaride struts. Apparently, they are for Z95 suspension code vehicles and, mine is Z55 suspension code. I found this only few weeks ago. Thus, truck was not set up to...

    Which front shocks to choose?

Mine are struts. I'd rather have complete strut, than deal with spring compressors, though I have 2 different types.

    Which front shocks to choose?

I am going to replace front shocks on my 07 Tahoe with Magneride. I figured how to disable Magneride and now am debating between the three choices.

    Cancelling magneride

Ok, apparently this works: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09R9D3S7G?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details Installed Sunday 7 am, truck driven normal ever since, no Service Suspension light. What really pisses me off is that shocks in the front behave the same, connected or not. Now I'm really...

Recurring bank 1 O2 sensor code

Why? Dipstick is in place, it just parted with the supporting bracket. I mean - DS tube parted. It's all secured back in place 20 min ago. Any reason to replace DS?

    Cancelling magneride

This is what I have: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B096J1D3DH/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Installed in January, so I have maybe 8 000 miles on them? Now I have Service Suspension as of the last week and "lost communication" code for the front left one. Either way...

Recurring bank 1 O2 sensor code

Just did the passenger side gasket. What a ***** to do. The rear bolt you can use only a ratcheting wrench, as there is some sort of AC tray next to it and 2 AC lines. Access is very limited - and very far deep there. Plus, jerks that worked on that engine left me with 3 13mm bolts and 3 10mm...

    Cancelling magneride

Rears are air ride, so far, aftermarket holds. New shocks with bags and compressor. I got Dorman magneride new shocks in the front and they suck big time. Way too soft. Way. So plan is to kill magneride in the front and put in KYBs. But then I need to cancel magneride sensors. Hence the question.

    Cancelling magneride

OK, I read posts and articles and all the wisdoms. Just to make sure. I buy aftermarket front shocks and magneride cancellation kit, which is 2 resistors plugged into the OEM harness, install new shocks - and that's it? No fool messages?

C0575-02 left front actuator circuit short to ground

On the bright side - message went away yesterday night and didn't appear today during commute. Seems like replacing shock connector with the original one did it.

I hate when cars are parked outside..... Which module is it then? And where?

C0575-02 left front actuator circuit short to ground

I just replaced the harness connector with the OEM one. Same code stayed. So it's not connector. I also ran diagnostic on actuator and it shows 2.2V, what is within norm. And I ran On/Off test on it, and it still shows as functional on scanner. Lost from here on....

C0575-02 left front actuator circuit short to ground

Well got this code this morning. It stays, erasing it does not help. Safely presuming, ECU shuts down electronic ride control. My front shocks are Dormans magnaride ones. They were not cheap and is it correct to presume, that it's bad shock electronic component? Or, it's something else? I'll try...

Recurring bank 1 O2 sensor code

BTW, the original DTC code.... It's not actually bad sensor code. It's sensor circuit code. Apparently, there's bad connection somewhere in that circuit, that's why it pops on and off.

Recurring bank 1 O2 sensor code

OK, so I finally got to replacing that gasket today. DTC was gone for lioke a month, then popped up 2 days in a row, then vanished again for over a week. I have day off, so I finally did it. No, no need to remove manifold. Simply undo plug connectors, remove rear plug wire completely, as it gets...

Recurring bank 1 O2 sensor code

Yep. That's the bright idea. And, considering that it takes time to show, it's "leak isn't big enough to really hurt anything,"

So I ran live scan on O2 sensor. It's reading just fine

Recurring bank 1 O2 sensor code

I have a question then. If manifold is held in place by simple bolts, do I really need to disconnect it from the exhaust pipe to replace only gasket? Won't it move away from the block enough to simply remove the old gasket and slide the new one in?

Recurring bank 1 O2 sensor code

Yeah, I'll just do it next weekend. Got lots of Liquid Wrench. Shouldn't be that hard.....

Recurring bank 1 O2 sensor code

I know. Just dread the job. Nuts are tight, I tried. Really, don't want to snap a stud

Recurring bank 1 O2 sensor code

I'll go backward. Yes, O2 sensor moves up and down when I ran live graph. Yes, all sensors pass test on both Torque and smarter scanner I am referring to the 3rd bolt on the manifold flange, next to cat, as it is crammed between the flange and the engine block, with very little room to get to...
