@Ramiro0727 A fella on another Tahoe forum I was working with had a similar problem and he said he parked it up a hill and that got the air out but I've never had a problem
@Dave09 Good way to test it is by parking with the front end facing downhill to keep the starter gear in place, if it doesn’t happen you know the starter gear is the problem

That’s a good theory but it’s trumped by the fact the battery ran low enough to reset the computer I think the reason it didn’t start was a dead battery not hydrolocking.

@iamdub Very interesting about the battery, I only got about 1 crank cycle out of it before it got too weak to turn the motor anymore. I’ll get it tested.
Another thought is that when the computer is reset it might have been trying to use A/F ratios for gasoline but it’s full of E85 causing it...

Recently I learned that a failure point of these starters is that the starter gear can move to contact to flywheel unintentionally, given the conditions of your problem I think the starter is a good place to look.
Burping a Jeep 4.0 straight 6 motor was a whole ritual and a half but when I put my Tahoe back together after the AFM delete I just let it come up to temp with the heater blasting and there was no drama to it. About a week later I topped the coolant off and that was the end of it.
