wireless charger for the center console

I put the charge unit on the bottom of the plastic tray. The unit I purchased had double sided tape to help with alignment. Initially I was concerned heat might be an issue. However its been 2 years and still works great. I do not have photos as I installed it in the parting lot of my daughters...

wireless charger for the center console

You also have a bunch of the DIY options available. Our center console is so easy to route wire and looks like it was made for this charger. It took me 15 min to install and I only drilled 1 1/16" hole. The parts I used cost under $10. Here's a link for the charger unit. EBAY Charger

    Want more midbass?

I run a rather ridiculous sub stage so I needed more mid-bass to keep up with(or try to) the subs. I'm running HAT L8SE's in the doors similar to the OP's Dynaudio's. I run 2 different sub stages during the year due to traveling for my kids sports. I run a sealed 13W7 which played up to 80hz...

Need help with new head unit and rear speakers not working.

Upgrading the Bose amp isn't super straight forward. It is but you wouldn't want to use any of the existing wiring. Were the issues you're experiencing happening before the Pioneer AVH-2550NEX upgrade? Do you know if the infinity speakers in the rear are the correct impedance. If I recall...

2012 Tahoe LTZ wBose - Has anyone figured out Bluetooth Via the "iPod" usb port?

I've installed a Sonos Port in my current setup. Fortunately it requires a 12V power supply so it was a straight forward install. From the time the truck is turned on it takes 15-20 seconds for he unit to boot up and connect to my phone. The Sonos gives me access to all the streaming services my...

    Oil Pressure Gauge out

Hello all. My oil pressure gauge was fully pinned on 80psi for 3-4 days. It was time for an oil change so I went with my standard full synthetic. Since that time it has not functioned showing 0 psi. Prior to 0 psi the gauge would do the ignition power up where it swings to 80 then back to 0...

Small world. I had quite a few good times in that neck of the woods. I moved to Texas about a month before Katrina. This summer we stayed in BR on our way to and from Orlando. I barely recognized the place. To be honest I’m cutting the AQ because I have a single cable. I’d find a better use if...

It’s important to me to have pride in my workmanship. The factory signal is clean from 20Hz to 20 kHz at full volume. I don’t understand why people use the “sound restorers” or LOC’s on these vehicles. Literally cut a single RCA in half and solder in. Don’t get easier, cheaper, or better. I’ll...

Good stuff. I’ll drop some photos of the line level splice points. I Tesa taped them after heat shrink and solder but just by chance I need to get into them to change some routing. You sound about as **** retentive as I am. Do it once do it right. I’ll pull the receipt for the struts as well...

Thanks. The enclosure beauty panels were practice on the vinyl. I haven’t used vinyl in years. I’m working on the design to cut them on the CNC router. The port needs to be cleaned up and mounted against black to contrast like I prefer. I’ll use tan for accents. There is tons of room with the...

Greetings from southern Texas! I've been a long time GM full size SUV owner so I've used the forum from time to time. I'm glad to see the active users around here because FB is a garbage can. Currently my daily driver is an 07 Tahoe LTZ with 150K on the ticker. I've owned it for roughly 4...

    6 15’s c-pillar wall

I was hoping you wouldn’t have said that but I was thinking the same. I’m not sure why so many SPL rigs don’t cut the roof like you did off the jump. I checked out your vids and was thoroughly impressed by the research and design. Quality build all around. I was part of a 160+ db build on a...

Removed 3rd row seats.. what to do with brackets now?

I completely removed all the 3rd row brackets then sound deadened that entire area. I used a couple layers to flatten out the pockets where the brackets mounted then stopped by the upholstery shop and purchased a couple yards for their best black automotive carpet. It was surprisingly easy and...

Are the Yukon and Tahoe door panels interchangeable?

The Escalade panels dropped in well in my 07 LTZ. You also need the sail panels as they are different and held in with a single clip. The part of the panel that meets with the dash is shaped slightly different but it's not noticeable. The leather and speakers grills add some class to the doors...

    6 15’s c-pillar wall

Great execution sir. You’re the perfect person to ask about my current project. I’m looking to stiffen up the roof of my 07 Tahoe. What are your thoughts on using 1” X 1/4”X 65” 304 stainless bar on the exterior of the roof on the 4 raised runners. I’ve gone heavy on the deadening and used seam...

    6 15’s c-pillar wall

Congratulations on the 159.0. I’m not sure most on the forum quite understand the magnitude of that achievement. Are you planning to chase 160? Did you ditch the custom battery setup or relocate it? Are you posting Build logs on other forums? I’m also a bit of a bass junkie with audiophile...
