I've had my '21 Yukon for a while now and have seen this message a few times while driving on the highway. It says "side vehicle detection temporarily disabled" and it pops up on the center of the instrument cluster, has anyone else had this message?
It sounds like you want to de-AT4 an AT4, the bumper, chrome, grille and wheels are what make it what it is. The cost of an AT4 is probably close to the price of a Denali, does the magna-ride available on the Denali?
I think GM has their ECMs locked on the newer vehicles, not even the dealers can access or change the computer settings. The new Corvette owners are waiting for someone to crack the code.
I have a 2021 Yukon SLE 5.3L that is telling me that my oil life is low and it needs to be changed. It only has 3400 miles on it and doesn't have much idling time. With the Dexos oil I thought it was calibrated for 6000 miles. I've had a '19 Yukon and a '16 Silverado that oil was changed at...
A few year ago I bought a like-new Silverado with the Katzkin leather seats, they were so much nicer than some of todays leather seats. The interior was why I chose that truck.
I had an XL SLE before my current SLT, I had to crawl in to reach the straps to lower the 3rd row seats. The manual liftgate was no problem to operate.
In 5-6 years there will be Yukons on used lots for sale with operating systems incompatible with the newest updates at the time. Half of the options won't work, I can see it now.
Do you mean you shouldn't rock crawl with your new Escalade because it doesn't have 4L?...You can do it in regular 4WD, just lower the tire pressure in your '22 tires.
The slot is a credit card reader, you can use it for making car and Onstar payments and there's a built-in ATM, cash will dispense under the steering wheel.
Even with gas at $5+ a gallon in my area I still have no regrets about my Yukon. Even though I don't drive it as much as my other vehicle, I'm keeping the miles down and it's a treat to drive when I do.
As a kid I worked at an oil change place and back then we would set the dial on the gun to 4 quarts. After an engine start we'd check the oil level once the filter was filled and then top off, most cars and trucks at the time only took 5 quarts. Maybe the tech was doing multiple jobs that day...
When the dealer near me gets a new Escalade they park it up front, he may get 1-2 per week and they are usually ordered/pre-sold. A couple days and it's gone, the same dealer also sells Chrysler products and parks the Wagoneers out front and those only last a day or two.
I installed the WTs on my '21, was a little worried it would give it the "old man truck" look but they aren't too noticeable. And they were easy to install.
When I first got my yukon it would lock the doors a few seconds after closing. Almost got locked out my self, but you can turn it off it the settings section.
