How was your break in period? I don’t really see much conversation about that. Yes the OM says to keep it easy for the 1st 500 mi but me personally I noticed engine waking up at about 1k, more at 1.5k and again more at 2k.
Also read that lifter issue may be related to low oil levels. Not...
Here is a 3 part vid of said issue and steps to remove and replace bad lifters
IMHO - I was like damn when I heard about this but remember the defected percentage vs the hundreds of thousands vehicles produced and sold…with no issues is significantly low. After watching the vid it did put my...
I had some similar 20's on my Jeep Grand Cherokee which was black on black for about 4 years. Not a single scratch during my ownership of the wheels. Wish the Tahoes had all black but honestly its going to depend on the owner. I never had an issue with curbs and on the plus side the tires are...
Nice!
Yep went to Laughlin and man was it hot. 120+. Was there for about 2 days and then drove from Laughlin to Palm Dessert but took a short cut lol. Instead of driving back on the 40 hwy took the 95 which goes border line from AZ into Cali and that was nothing but dessert as well. I guess...
Yes black on black is amazing just have to keep it clean.
Yes they are the OEM rails. They were a dealer add on and are on my sticker. I want to say $495 was the price. They look great just haven't used them yet. I'm currently debating if I want the Thule up top or a basket with a full size...
Previous range customer here and used their product on my 11 SS Camaro and loved it. I’m sure their current Product not specifically for the 21 Tahoe/Yukon’s will work but I’d wait till they release a version specifically for the 21’s. That surge is just not worth the risk if any.
Took her on a trip from SoCal to the Colorado river near Arizona.
Performed well and managed pretty decent mpg. I later smashed on it and dropped to about 14 ish…
Curious how the 2wd models would do. Mine is a 2wd, don't off road but do go in dirt roads and minimal sand at lakes. I've seen I have snow/ice mode which I don't see myself using at all but curious how it would perform. Also I assume the LSD kicks in automatically when it senses slippage?
Couldn't agree more. I'm 5'4 and the fixed seem to be enough for me. Not that I need them to get in but work great. IMHO, all those extra features are just another problem to fix later down the road. To each their own but the fixed suffice even for washing the roof.
Yup, I got mine with no mark up. A week later went back to have my wheels locks and rack installed and sales manager showed me they started marking them up about 5k more.
Thank you all for posting pics of your cans.
Just picked up my 2021 RST a month ago (tomorrow).
As you can imagine buying all kinds of things for your rigs takes time. I for one am a believer of the catch cans. Been using one since 2011 with my L99 Camaro SS. I believe that was elite...
