Browsing Craigslist just for fun the other day and came across a guy selling this. I instantly fell in love with it. I have the same vehicle but a suburban. Kind of gave me a new direction with my burb. Still doing the atomic coilovers and such but for wheels and bumper guard setup. I text the...
Damper control? My burb is still not working after replacing the hvac control head. I'll try the recal again but I guess all 4 actuators went bad at the same time.
OP did you ever get this fixed?
Hey OP anymore pics of those wheels on your Tahoe? I'm on the fence about those in black. Not sure if they'd look good on pewter z71. Yours will help me visualize thanks.
Found their webpage and been reading up on them. Seems the hardest part would be making the transmission fit physically. Obviously a mount would need to be fabricated but the rest according to their info on their page is all in the harness. I'm sure there is more to though. I also found they...
Came across these guys while looking for options to control a 6L80 in an older vehicle. I don't hate the 4L60/65 I just don't think it won't last long behind a 6.0 pulling much. This is all hypothetical though. Thoughts? Let's discuss. I'm no expert by any means but these guys are working on...
I'll try it again. I just find it hard to believe 4 actuators went bad at the same time or started working intermittently. I'm really suspect of of the HVAC head unit or brain but I can't find any info to check it or the actuators to confirm what's wrong. I'd rather not throw parts at it but...
By off position do you mean all the way left? The mode selector doesn't have an off in my 03. It defaults to defrost though so I'm assuming that's what I need to select it on
I got it working by doing it manually and then it started working. After I went from vents to defrost and back it stuck in hot again. Some reason I think it's none of the actuators because they all work except recirc.
I got it on cold and unplugged it lol
back story - recently replaced my front evaporator core for my a/c in my 03 burb. It's dual zone but not auto. EVERYTHING worked as it should prior to this except the air wouldn't blow cold. I disconnected my battery during this and it was disconnected for about 18 hours total. First my fan only...
I don't have a tpms on my 03 so I'm in the clear there.
I'll probably do the 10 ply because I prefer a stiffer ride over the marshmallow feel it has now. Combine these with all new bushings, shocks and atomics coil over front suspension.
The time for times is quickly coming. I'm seriously considering the Falken Wildpeak at3w but they only come in 10 ply for a 285/70r17. Curious as to how much mpg I'll give up and how rough the ride is. I'll be adding Bilsteins at the same time.
It's an 03 and has the torsion bar setup but I'm ditching it in favor of a coil-over system. Just curious how 285s and 2" inch lift look that way I know how long of shocks to order.
Looking for pics of Suburbans with that setup. I'm getting closer to buying atomic performances coilover kit and doing a complete bushing replacement. Trying to decide if 2" inch lift on 285s is to much or not enough.
Thanks for the replies.

HenryJ in that thread got it all at NAPA for about $405. Those rotors look killer so I'll probably get those. Any brand on those lines?
