Hey folks.
My 07 Denali XL now has 175k miles on it. I promised myself that if after a year it had proven reliable, I was gonna sink some money in to the suspension... that time has arrived but I feel a bit lost.
Its a Z55 car. The front shocks visibly leak and are rock solid. All sensors...
Thanks for that, appreciated!
Ive also been reading this awesome thread:
https://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/threads/converting-back-the-z55-air-ride-suspension.126751/
I got to admit, im doubting whether to try and keep the Z55 fronts is a good idea or not.... I have zero DTCs set at the...
Hi folks,
I know there are a million threads out there, but to be honest the more I read the more im lost.
I have an 07 Denali XL AWD. 173k miles. The suspension is worn out. Doesnt produce any codes and the rear end still airs up, but it doesnt ride correctly (definitely not in the front...
Hi folks,
Ive got a major AC leak on my 07 Denali XL. Luckily with the help of UV we've traced the spot.
Its on the rear lines, roughly above the rear passenger side wheel. Seems to be in the area of the black clip.
Could anybody help me with a part number for what I need to replace here...
Situation solved... I think.
All these awesome documents were not enough to satisfy the local authorities. I needed something linked to the VIN of the vehicle.
Vintage vehicle services in Canada might just have saved my skin. They came through with a certificate of permissable masses...
Situation solved... I think.
Finally managed to get payment to vintage vehicle services in Canada, and hey presto! A statement of permissable masses with the VIN.
Thanks all the info, was a great help. :)
Strange. The 07 spec sheet and trailering guides list it as 7900lbs. 7700lbs would also be fine for me though... I just need more than the current 3300lbs
The truck is an 07 Yukon XL Denali. Max trailering weight is 7900lbs.
The problem I (mainly) have is that its a government organisation - so common sense goes right out of the window.
What I need is a 'statement of masses' I found 2 companies that can provide this. Vintage vehicle services...
I think I might know the answer to this (im screwed), but hey, I figured id try the forum, maybe theres hope.
I need a new door sticker, the one with the VIN and the vehicle weights on. Im trying to get my XL Denali correctly registered here in Europe. At the moment im only permitted to tow...
Did the pickup O ring on mine today.
Warm idle has gone from 10-15psi, to 20-25.
Cruising is 40-50psi. Acceleration is 60+. Haven't done a cold idle yet.
07 Denali, 167k miles. Unopened engine.
Problem solved folks. Thanks. With the help of the videos and some further deconstruction I managed to get the damaged chair out.
Replacements are in and work perfectly!
Hi again folks.
OK to move the story on a bit.... I thought I had managed to make a fix to the problem, reinstalled the seat and...ummm... it went in fine, but will now not release, fold, move etc whatsoever!!
Almost unbelievably an American Car breaker here in Europe (only 2hrs drive from me)...
Hey folks,
Does anybody have a copy of the 2007 GMC Yukon Vehicle Information Kit? Or an 07 GMC trailering guide?
I need to present some info out of it to have the towing capacity of my 07 XL uprated from its current 1200Lbs to the correct 7900Lbs (im based in Europe).
I need some sort of...
Hi folks,
Has the usual issue of a 3rd row seating not folding and releasing. Managed to get it out of the car, and the culprit is the cable that runs from right to left is very stretched on the left side (middle of car), so when you move the release lever, the cable doesnt pull taught...
I did passenger side rear today.
Via wheel well and from above.
Annoying, but doable.
If you release the dipstick bracket, you can move it out of the way enough for mounting the clamp.
A ratcheting 15mm wrench is almost essential.
