    2022 Cadillac Escalade blown engine!

No such thing as 'Quality' parts from China. GM design and manufacturing has simply gone down the tubes. Unlike Toyota/Lexus

    2022 Cadillac Escalade blown engine!

Then it must be that GM's Specs are crap if they break when new. And, no such thing a 'Quality' stuff from China. You get what you pay for PERIOD. No Japanese car parts are made in China. Can you argue that GM Pickups from the 1990's last 2775,000-300,000+ miles, while it seems the GM Vehicles...

    2022 Cadillac Escalade blown engine!

I'm sure CEO's at Toyota and Nissan are smiling. How disgraceful of GM to have this happen when their trucks/suv's of the 1990's run forever. I think they are trying to save too much Money and using too many cheap China parts.

    Expedition vs Yukon

Parts shortages is why we neeed to tell the manufactures if they must have cheap labor move all manufacturing in China to India. A good allie that speaks fluent English, the same or lower labor rates, Smarter people, and not communists.

6.2L Engine... What gas are you using?

Current cars/trucks have 'Knock sensors' which eliminates any knocking. I happen to have a Lexus big sedan that supposed to require Premium Gas. I have been running it for 5 years on Regular 87 octane gas. No issues at all.

2021 Yukon XL At4 Dead before leaving Dealer Lot

The answer is to manufacture chips in USA. Dont you think the Car manufactures could afford to pay a litle more when they are selling SUVs and Pickups from $40-$80,000 a pop?

2021 Yukon XL At4 Dead before leaving Dealer Lot

Sorry to dissagree but 'things like this' never happen to Japanese Cars. Terrible QA at GM. Let's not forget GM's inferior brake lines in the Silverados and Sierras from 1990-2005 over 20 years and they new it but sill used them.

New Here - Just picked up a 2007 Yukon XL Denali

May not be such a deal unless he is very lucky. 2007 was when GM went bankrupt and 99% of ALL GM vehicles that year were lemons, with thousands of reported major repairs. But, maybe he got lucky. Most 2007 GM vehicles are selling at 50% less than competitive Ford or Japan car for a reason.

    Advice on 2021 Tahoe, 5.3 V8 vs. Duramax 3.0

Since the is no info here why not look as the history of Duramax owners complaint at https://www.carcomplaints.com They post owner and government complaints/recalls of every car/truck/suv and every model, every year that were made that complained about. I found it very informative.

Try using www.carcomplaints.com to find the right year to buy. They list All manufactures, all models and all years of complaints, recalls and bulletins

    What Year is Reliable

I found the https://www.carcomplaints.com/ to be a very valuable resource. It is interesting that the year GM went bankrupt (2007) is the worst year for complaints and all their vehicles failiers in all of GM history.

    Diabolic sunroof issues

You wonder why GM has such crappy engineers or, maybe it is to save a penny on plastic tracks. I must say Japaneese engineers seem to better qualified and have better ideas.
