I had the same issues with a set of Terra Grap’s. Great at first, then later they would squeal around corners, and just lose traction in minimal light snowing conditions (wet road, not sticking).
Mine has about an 1/8" of space between the droop stop and UCA. It's rides great with the Bilsteins and having the jounce stops dialed in. Only time I feel it "bang" is when I hit a speed bump too fast.

Trust me, me being lifted, working on anything under my hood requires a step ladder or sitting on the Rad support. It's a REAL PAIN IN THE ASS. I do need to finally get one.

I'm reviving threads from the dead. I've decided I'm gonna catch a unicorn at the end of a rainbow, and Do an HD HOOD swap. I found one with no damage at all, just would have to paint it for $345. Thoughts? What am I looking at for paint?
I know it's overkill, I just thought I would look cool. I used to do car stereos and have seen all kinds of fuse setups, and circuit breakers under the hood always impressed me.

Here's a thought, how about an inline circuit breaker? How many amps would it have to be for the battery to alternator wire?

So upon further review that little ass 8 gauge piece of wire is the only thing putting my alternator in series. That's going to be remedied shortly.

Is there a recent Big 3 thread that's been done? I'm out here trying to figure out how I'm gonna do this and I noticed all I have from battery is 4 gauge to the splice in the red box and a piece of 8 gauge from the splice block to the alternator. So I'm just gonna run a piece of 1/0 gauge from...

Update here as well:
So I got mine all done. Everything went on very easy, other than trying to use a garden sprayer to bleed the brakes. Ended up with brake fluid all over the floor, because it all just seeped through the master cylinder cap under pressure.
The upgrade is a night and day...
I can't really pinpoint what has had what affect of my ride with all that I've done in the past few weeks. But one thing is for sure. It DOES NOT ride like a lifted 6000lb beast anymore. Body roll is minimal, the brakes bring it to a solid stop with any vibration or shimmy, the nose dive on a...
I had a horrible shimmy when slowing down for turns or stops after the tires and wheel spacers. The brakes took care of that, she comes to a solid stop now and the Jounce stops really helped with the nose diving.
