Thats a good view to show the lowered obs front offset problem. No way around it without custom wheels. Probably why the progress keeps stopping on the low obs trucks. My nbs and nnbs trucks tucks almost anything up front. Its a kick in the nuts if you are reading this that cant be avoided. Call...
Thanks guys. It hasnt been washed or waxed yet since paint a year ago. . I will update soon, couple days from done. Its kinda boxed in so no picks of the front. Its all shaved and smoothed up front, the body shop did an amazing job. Oh!! Found a pic of it from when i got it back... Guess it has...
Oops, i hate when people dont say tire size and drop. Lol its 20x8 wheel front with 245/45/20, and 20x10 rear with 305/35/20 drag radials. 28.4 tire height rear, 28.7 front to keep in spec for proper 4x4 function. Belltech truck flip kit not tahoe because its rediculous expensive for the two...
Getting a little slow in here, figured i would post the current version just finishing up. Still the same tahoe and still 4x4 from 6 years ago in this thread.
Took a bunch of unforseen body work, and it was painted inside and out with everything removed.
Gm cyber grey with HRE wheels, took a...
I would check foran intake manifold gasket leak, they are common on the old tbis. Sounds like you might have a leak which raises the idle rpm and gives the iac code because the engine cant control the rpm so it thinks the iac is faulty.
As for the spark knock, it could be coming from one or more...
"This stereo I bought from best buy is a piece of crap after hooked up a different amp! Omg!! I had no idea what I was doing when I hooked it up, but samsung is a piece of crap because of it!!"

I have seen bone stock 2017 and 2018 gm vehicles with not even a muffler delete, let alone an aftermarket intake or exhaust show a ten percent fuel trim and still run fine. I have also seen others that are bone stock with plus or minus 2 percent fuel trims.. you guys are hilarious that say...
You are thinking in the way the processors were before the last couple of years. If you change the air flow without compensating for it in the tune it can cause tranny shifting problems. It doesn't have to be an air leak, it is simply the truck thinking it is in a different state than it...
If you don't understand how it works you won't understand why it works. All of the shift pressures and such use torque based calculations largely based off the measured air flows and such on these newer trannys. If I mess up the calculated air flow into the engine on a new 6 speed or 8 speed it...
Man I suck at using quotes on this site!! Lol 95 percent of the "tuners" that have hacked their way through life in the past don't know how to tune these new gm trannys because they have no idea how they work. It is NOT the same way they used to work, and oil or not causing maf contamination, I...
In this case the air intake is just as much to blame as the lift is for causing tie rod angles. The transmission in his truck relies on the accurate and factory calibrated air flow to control how the transmission works. Change the air flow of the air intake system on the new gm 6 and 8 speed...
He surely did your first remote tune with the underlying problem. All you have is the information available to you at the time. A new log and it will be spot on.
It's because the newer style gm computers use multiple torque based algorithms to control tranny shifting and feel. Some intakes on some vehicles really show the affects bad when the actual air flow vs calibrated air flow vs frequency of th mass air calibration is off.
You can also try wiggling your heater control panel and see if it turns off and on. Mine would come off and on at random, and when i wacked the control panel it would turn back on. Ended up being the one wire in the connector going into the heater controls had some build up on it. I just cleaned...
Oh, sorry for double posting, but you will notice something funny when lowering these trucks via keys... The wheels actually push out in an anoying way. I lower all my 4x4 newer style vehicles, and the obs tahoe is the first I have seen that pushed the wheels out so crazy far with just a couple...
Just finished a 2 inch rear, 2.3 or so front lowering on my 4x4. We have almost exactly the same diameter tires...your are a bit wider. There is a ton of room on the inside though, so if your offset is close to mine, you should have lots of room.
