Thanks Cobra - Going to try those plugs. Looks like
a nice assortment:
2 in roof ( currently stuffed with silicone )
1 small one on dash ( former light switch )
1 x 3/4" in inner liftgate panel
Also in Ontario. I recently picked up a 2014 PPV.
Do you have any pics of your progress so far ? It's nice to see
what folks are doing to their rides.........
Lol - it's definitely not perfect. The holes on those pillars
are only noticeable from the rear seating, so I'm not
too worried, but yeah, they need to be filled
with something for now.
I'll post a few more shots.........
Engine compartment with 2nd battery tray and the
strange hose that seems to go nowhere - perhaps a breather - but for what ? Also looks like I got a block heater.
Here are pics of the front seats and dashboard.
Suppose I should have opened the hatch - let me know if you want to see the vinyl rear seats or anything else......
Pics of some of the cosmetic damage - I can likely replace
all the panels that have been cut or holed. In the last pic, the dashboard air vent wheel has been pushed in.
Great thread Spectralen. Watching closely as we have similar vehicles.
My truck has the same jumpseat installed, though the storage tray
under the cushion is separated from the frame - it won't clip
back in, and the seat pad is about a half inch or so higher
than the driver and passenger seats...
Lol thanks - I'm hoping to remove the tray ! ( I know some guys like
to bring their trucks back to Cop specs. ) As for spending money,
I'd like to 'civillianize' it somewhat - maybe upgrade the dash
with used panels from the scrapyard - spending as little
as possible.........!
Hi !
I'm Steve from Ontario Canada, and I just bought a 2014 Chevy
Tahoe PPV (RCMP Saskatchewan) a couple of weeks ago.
There are some issues, such as holes, panels not fitting well
or with cut-outs, an extra battery tray, a strange hose in
the engine compartment, plus a bunch of other things...
