Yeah the torque converter was all to hell the shop that put the engine in used bolts that were to long so they cut them and they were still to long so it was pushing on the converter so the bolt deal pretty much ruined the torque converter but it now has oem factory torque converter bolts in it...
Finally got '00 back and the trans feels great in it the shifts are very good :) it took longer than what it should but there were a couple things he found during the teardown that had to be done.
On my 01 I back flushed the heater core, replaced the other plastic fittings on the heater core outlets since they started leaking, tried to reset the actuator but it kept going between hot and cold so I think its time for a new one so I got the heat stuck on hot for now so hopefully no more...
I replaced the other plastic fitting since it started leaking so I back flushed the heater core an pulled the hvac fuse out and let it clear everything. Now the heat cuts in and out and I can hear the actuator going back and forth. Does this sound like a bad actuator?

Yeah I'm not happy I can't even get a call back on it. I know it don't take this long to get damn trans parts if it was a uncommon trans sure but a 2000 Tahoe trans no..
Was hoping to hear some news about the Tahoe getting the trans redone but the guy hasn't returned my calls or texts getting frustrated with it since its been about 3-4 weeks now. A simple call back with an update would be nice..
Still anxiously awaiting to hear about my 2000 haven't talked to my trans builder since Tuesday but drove by his shop today and the trans doesn't appear to be in it so hoping that's going well, the 2001 ehh its keeping me really cold everyday really hating it here lately still don't know what's...

Just noticed that where the rear heater box is located in the back it sounds like it's making a farting noise and it does over and over the heat situation in this tahoe is starting to make me really aggrevated.
I tried resetting the actuator from the info I found on the forums and still nothing, both heater hoses going to the heater core were hot, rear heat is still hot too. I Took The Actuator off lastnight and didn't see anything wrong with it inside. Are there 1 or 2 actuators on these? I took the...
