OEM Nav/Radio plugs in the rear.

I am actually planning on that. But first I want to get an amp in, so that audio, chimes etc work at a decent level. So I'll take any tips for a easy to install (plug and play) amp for that thing I mentioned above. Ron

OEM Nav/Radio plugs in the rear.

So I have the radio going, but the volume has to be turned up quite a ways to hear it. I was told to add an amp with something like this...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Hi Pete, I have the same wiring harness in my console. I would need the one from the console that goes to the radio (if it exists). I assume it is going to the radio, don't see where else it would go. But thank you!! I appreciate you helping out!! Ron

    Center Console cleaned out!

Nice console, That's what I did too. Looks like you have the better Bose amp!! .. I can see the blue/black/white plug, that I am looking for the harness for.

    center console harness

I took the Tahoe for a spin yesterday, to 'test' the navigation system. It doesn't seem to know it's location around my house (I do have the OEM antenna installed in the factory location under the dash. Maybe old software?) When driving, it doesn't seem to update the display, and it doesn't...

    center console harness

Hello, I am looking into making the rear audio work, even though not obviously simple, I think it very well might be possible. The console has the Bose amplifier in it, and the wiring harness to hook up the back. the "back harness" is also plugged into amplifier and a big connector is dangling...

OEM Nav/Radio plugs in the rear.

Finally, installed the re-programmed Nav-Radio ... it looks a little "The Matrix" but so far i am happy; here are the pics.

New Centre Console for my 2011 ppv

look what I saw on eBay, in this console it shows there's actually a 'cubby' you can put in, instead of having the rear audio. https://www.ebay.com/itm/2007-2008-2009-2010-2011-2012-2013-Silverado-Sierra-LT2-Center-Console/273046392948?hash=item3f92d55074:g:DEwAAOSwovNaIDuG&vxp=mtr

New Centre Console for my 2011 ppv

Here's what I found under the rubber "carpet" when I installed my console. It is hiding somewhere near the roll over sensor, I suspect it to run back to the front "somewhere". I also attached a pic of the connector that I found in my console, and.... it does not power the cigarette lighters...

New Centre Console for my 2011 ppv

Well I am actually looking into it. I did get a Nav-Radio, it's being re-programmed. I needed a wiring harness to install it (I needed: #6603 on http://www.oemradios.com/parts.php) That part/harness has the connectors that would let you plug in the harness that is in the center console. (it...

    11' PPV exRCMP. Hotrod build

Well it's either knowing where your jack is and how your spare works, or make sure you have a pack of cigs, a few sodas and a cell... to call the tow truck and wait for it. (my car insurance covers that) Well the only thing I have seen is the 'clamp' to hold down the jack... since that thing...

    11' PPV exRCMP. Hotrod build

:) I like to live dangerously though...... But you're right, I should. I probably should find out where the jack it (or better get a jack, because I doubt I have one, since I saw a clamp 'rattling' around in the back. Later I heard that's the clamp that holds the jack down. Where would I...

OEM Nav/Radio plugs in the rear.

I am figuring this out as I am going with it. I am pretty sure the golden connector is the XM radio one (which I don't have/want, you need an extra receiver and antenna for that.) The blue one is the GPS antenna. The two black ones, in the harness, take the two plugs the basic radio has (the...

Aahhh... another mystery solved.. I was wondering how the spare tire would come down/out. Ron

OEM Nav/Radio plugs in the rear.

So today I did get the wiring harness, but it has a bunch more plugs then I expected.. I'll attach a pic, where I numbered the plugs. Connector 1 and connector 2 seem to be the same as that the basic radio has. The antenna adapter is to the left (next to it is an additional USB cable that I...

2013 Tahoe LTZ what makes it SSV.

I have an SSV and was actually lifted factory. I believe PPVs are lowered, for better high speed stability?

Looks like you took the square cover in the bumper off, what's behind it? (been wondering for as long as I saw it)

I don't know, maybe it's kleenex terminology, (it isn't kleenex, but they call it kleenex.)

OEM Nav/Radio plugs in the rear.

well I actually tried a "OEM radios" guy... instead of buying a bunch of wrong parts, I rather pay a bit more and get the right ones (and be able to return if they're not) The conversions seems to be pretty specific

You have an SSV .. this seems to be the right section.

    '11 SSV Brakes

You can actually see that on the RPO sticker, in your glove box. I believe the standard on SSVs is 17" rotors. About brakes, mine says: JD9: BRAKE VAC POWER, 17' DISC/DISC, W/VSES, 7700 LBS JL1: CONTROL,INTEGRATED TRAILER BRAKE JL4: CONTROL ACTIVE BRAKE Ron

OEM Nav/Radio plugs in the rear.

I tried to swap the radios today, but it seems that the radios are not "plug compatible" So I guess I need some sort of harness to convert from the basic radio to the newer nav radio? What is in there is the GM 20934592 radio and I want to replace it with the GM 22997866. Any ideas of where to...

I think I had the right cable, but I don't think this is the right one? I took a closer look at the USB plug in the back, here's a pic. Ron

OEM Style fog light install issues

It is pretty easy to get around it, Jeep people do it all the time. Just get an extra relay, mount it somewhere in the engine compartment and run a power wire through that relais. Then from the switch, find a 'hot' wire and run it through the switch to control the relay with. Make sure you...
