    Lowered on 28’s?

They clear the stock boards on my suburban

    The KidWagon

My only advice to going more than a 4” drop up front would be to not do it lol

    Lowered on 28’s?

How do people run 28’s on nnbs escalades? These are 275/25’s and they hit the running board at like 1/2 turn. I wonder if lowering it would help them clear

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Never in my life have I seen a stock vehicle have a piston melted this bad. 2 others had part of the top ring land missing and the other side of the engine had a broken valve spring. This poor engine had a hard life Before anyone asks, yes I changed the 4 pistons with the block still in the truck

Is there such thing as too low?

Back isn’t much of an issue. It would rub on big dips but I wouldn’t have to tub it. The front on the other hand. I’d have to tub the firewall and get a set of tuck & turn control arms. Two things I’m not really interested in doing at the moment

Is there such thing as too low?

Zero chance of tucking these wheels on the front. They also don’t clear the oem big brakes. Also remembered to get a good picture of my notch

Is there such thing as too low?

Didn’t get l to try the front yet but those should be fine because they are cut and pulled. Rear fender lip is completely cut out but it still sits right on the tire

Is there such thing as too low?

Another limit found. 275/25/28’s don’t fit with this offset. Top of the fender lip sits on the tire but dangggg do they look good

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Been getting lucky on deals lately. 28’s for $700. One rim is cracked. Really sucks they don’t fit. The top of the fender is sitting on the tire. 275/25/28’s

    Converting from awd to 2wd?

I just saw that the tcase has an output speed sensor. Not sure if there’s a similar part on the 2wd trans but all I could find was one for AWD

    Converting from awd to 2wd?

I searched quickly on an Escalade forum and they all seem like cry babies when asked this question with zero help. Has anyone ever converted their awd truck to 2wd? Mechanically I know it’s a simple trans and driveshaft swap but I’m more curious about the electronics aspect of it

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

If I wanted to part it out, I’d make that money back on just the trans, t-case, and front diff

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I’m going to guess it was ran on 87 as well when gas prices were really high. I’m probably going to pull it and throw some stock pistons in it and put it back in. I thought about doing cam and valvesprings but I don’t want to go down a performance rabbit hole. I was fortunate enough for my wife...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

$2800 was a little too good to be true. Noticed it had some blowby so I stuck a bore scope down the holes and found a broken piston. Not the end of the world, just annoying to have to fix it. Oh and this thing is FAST compared to my 8000lb suburban lol

    Do’s and don’ts of lowering 4wd/awd

Thank you sir. I know myself all too well and before long this thing will be as low as my suburban Any idea when the axles start binding up?

    Do’s and don’ts of lowering 4wd/awd

I know every possible thing there is to know about lowering a 2wd gmt900 but nothing about the front of the 4wd version. Is it pretty much the same? Same part numbers? What issues arise and at what drop do they happen? Here’s a picture of my new to me ESV. I don’t want to get out of control...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Maybe a 2/3 drop, upgrade the stock speakers and a nice drop down screen for my kid. I was told it was 2wd so I was going to bag it on 28’s but it’s awd and that’s a mess I just don’t want to even begin to get into

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Just scored this 08 ESV today for $2800. Has a pretty good oil leak up high on the passenger side but other than that there’s nothing wrong with it

Anyone running Spohn Rear Control Arms?

it literally drops the rear of the control arm straight down. The axle doesn’t move at all with that bracket. If it did, the pinion angle would change significantly and you’d have crazy vibrations. Without that bracket, the front of the control arm would hit the frame during travel

Anyone running Spohn Rear Control Arms?

The djm brackets don’t center the axle. They just drop the back of the arm down to get a better angle for better handling and ride quality
