You're stuffing 16 half foot speakers under a truck. Even in high quality waterproof enclosures, if someone did look under there it would look like a wall in the audio section of a best buy.
You're into this for 1600 bucks right now for just the speakers and amp. It's a ton of work, looks like crap, ton of wiring, and probably won't sound as good as a 600-800 dollar soundbar.
There's a so many decent ways to get music outside the car but a bunch of cheap marine speakers isn't it. Get a wetsounds bar and tuck it behind the grille, in the front bumper, or behind/ under the rear bumper. Even tower speakers in the back or hidden under it would be better.
Excellent, I was just going to say this till I saw your post. Most people assume 20 percent is going to mean the meter is going to say 20, when in fact it's closer to 15.
They clocked my fronts at 17-18 iirc, which is basically an exact match to the rears, so it had to have been like 22% tint...
No shield tint in the north.
Every once in a while up here I see someone with an obviously tinted shield. But in FL it seems like every fourth car has a tinted shield of some sorts.
Work truck will probably get tint over the summer so maybe i'll get it done then lol. It would look sweet but...
Nope, in an open parking lot. Did the same thing parked on the street.
not even moving- foot on the brake, shift from P to R,N, or D and it goes to static.
Here's a weird one: I did the "escalade" antenna mod a while back (really just laid the antenna along the fender and put the stock piece back in) and got no/extremely poor signal driving around. I figured it was because the antenna was down, and no biggie because I always listen to my phone...
Tasteful LED's are FTMFW.
All said and done how hard was building the lights? I want to build my dad a set with ebay clear 6.7 lights and a TRS kit (wish it was the round projectors not square but whatever) but I have a feeling I'll royally screw something up and send $550 down the drain.
He...
Ended up being a pinhole from corrosion on the PS cooler. Small little loop with fins to the drivers side of the radiator.
Leaking like crazy out of it, lost all PS fluid, so the hydroboost wasn't working.
Like an 85 dollar fix, and now I can steer and stop again.
DS front brake and power steering had a few hiccups this morning.
As in the line or caliper puked brake fluid everywhere and I've got manual steering now.
these work great, a few of my friends use them.

My buddy got suckered into the snapon one at triple the price before he realized they were the same.
But the SO does come in that purdy red.
Have you checked your PS reservoir? Mine was leaking last winter and at low speeds it would make a metallic almost grinding sound while turning. I kept topping it off to limp it by until I could fix it.
He's 2wd, and has a tiny bit of tread showing looking straight down the bedside. It's a sport/street truck (super fast v8 s10) It's totally BS, he probably could just swap stock wheels on for the inspection then run his fat sneakers after. Or some stupid long john style mudflaps
Ticket doesn't bother me, just getting it inspected in the first place is bothersome. I don't get hassled for tint, especially on the SUV you wouldn't notice how dark it is unless it's metered. My dad has the same tint on a pickup and looks way darker. I'll take my chances with jake and enjoy...
