    Aftermarket cam adjusters???

Out of all the leveled tahoes out there, there's no way I'm the only one that has ran across this. The stock alignment cam can't go far enough to correct the camber/caster that is needed for my new height. Everyone's alignment after leveling has been easy? Come on man...

    Aftermarket cam adjusters???

Hey guys, I have an 01 z71 4x4. Recently put on aftermarket keys and they are cranked maybe halfway to accommodate 33x12.50s. I knew it was going to need an alignment after the level, and could definitely tell from the front tires being titled outward at the top now. They told me at the shop...

    Heater core flush

Ok thanks. I finally got that connector off and did the flush. To my surprise it looked straight clear running in and out and I reversed it to make sure to get everything out. But no trash, no coolant, was clear as could be running through. Isn't there supposed to be coolant in there???

    Heater core flush

Has anyone ever flushed their heatwr core? Having a pain getting off one of the hoses next to the firewall. Went and bought the special "fuel line" fitting and still can't budge it. Anyone?

    Upper control arm

How long have you had them installed now? Wondering about their quality since they're so cheap.

    Upper control arm

So just found out my driver side upper control arm is bad. What brand replacements have you guys used? Just moog? Also should I go ahead and do the outside as well? Or do the lowers too? Any help appreciated.

    Stock keys vs ford/aftermarket HELP

I have just gotten around to looking at the bolts on my torsion bar after having my hoe 2 years. The driver side is cranked all the way, the passenger side still has a little bit of room. My question is how can I tell which keys are in there?

    Horrible sway

I ordered and installed some front sway bar end links. Improved the sway by at least 50%. Still more than I think there should be (yes I am taking into account it being a big tall heavy suv and not a sports car). Main way I can tell is a few curves I go around and there is some swaying, also a...

    Horrible sway

Alright guys, so I finally made the time today to get up under and look around. Rear bushings appeared to be fine on the end links. But what do ya know, the top side of the bottom bushings (where the end links attach to the sway bar) on the front were gone all except for a tiny ring of rubber...

    Horrible sway

Thanks for the responses guys, I didn't know how big of deal shocks could be until looking around at lift info recently. But anyhow right after I got the truck I got kyb shocks all around. Couldn't find many bad reviews on them but would have definitely went ahead and gone with bilstein if I was...

    Horrible sway

Currently almost 163k miles, bought when it had 135. 01 z71 4x4. I have only found a little bit of info on this in other posts so I thought I'd give it a shot. Hitting a bump on the highway or going around a ramp or decent turn in the road and I feel like I'm driving a boat. On the highway...

Where did you buy your r1concepts?

Just curious if everyone used r1concepts.com for their rotors, or if you might have ran across a cheaper place.

    Good brand steering box?

It seems the most commonly available steering gear boxes are remanufactured. I was wondering out of these are there any certain brands that you all have have good luck with in replacing your old worn out boxes with? Also where did you buy from?

Difference for 4/6 hi mod w/hids?

Good to know! probably knocking out the auto headlight disable today. So the fogs and drls would be done the same way/yellow ground method?

Difference for 4/6 hi mod w/hids?

Have a 2001 tahoe. I know that the mod can be done different/ easier ways on 99-02 vs 03-06. This may be a dumb question but i was wondering if having hids over halogen setup makes a difference in doing this. Just looking at grounding the yellow wire to the low beam. Also is there an easy way to...

2001 Chevy Tahoe --> Time to ditch??

Fix it. Like someone previously stated, you're gonna spend a ton on something even comparable that appears to be in "good" shape. What if you did spend $20k on a used one with 70k+ miles? Who's to say you won't have issues if not more than what your currently have? So then you're stuck with that...

need a steering box or nah?

Yeah, I remember reading some stuff about that aftermarket shaft to care of the clunk, which i do get very rarely, but only slightly from time to time. Just haven't seen anyone really use that to take care of play versus the box itself, not that that couldn't be the fix. I've already taken it to...

need a steering box or nah?

I have not. First I've heard of that. Would it be possible to check it on ground, or would it have to be lifted up?

need a steering box or nah?

Hey guys, I've already replaced pitman, idler arm, tie rod ends, and done the steering box "adjustment". The steering play isn't horrible, probably 1/2" - 1" of play at the wheel. Just think about the only thing left is the box itself, unless there is some other random part that might be bent...

    R1 concepts rotors/Hawk pads?

    Awesome thanks

    R1 concepts rotors/Hawk pads?

Makes sense. Just thought I read about someone getting their calipers and brackets from an auto parts store. So getting a regular 07 caliper might not work with an 07 hawk pad on an 07 r1 rotor? I'm confused.

    R1 concepts rotors/Hawk pads?

Thanks for your input guys. I told my company that the cost would be similar between doing a normal brake job and an 07+. Still leaning towards r1/hawk. Anyone have better results with one hawk pad versus another? Also just regular 07+ calipers and caliper brackets are fine?
