Upgraded calipers and brackets I'm referring to performance multipiston calipers (brembos, willwood....). Upgrading to a newer model caliper brackets your still using stock calipers and brackets and so your using stock size pads and rotors. Upgrading beyond stock style calipers and such will be costly. So yes upgrading to the 07 style you can get your calipers and brackets from a local parts store and the 07 r1 rotors and 07 hawk pads will fit together.

I did the nnbs front upgrade (part #19176794 & 19176793) with r1 premier slotted rotors and hawk lts pads. While I was at it I did ss brake lines as well and filled it with stoptech high temp 600 degree fluid. I love it, night and day difference. I dont think I have ever depressed the pedal past 1/3 of the way. btw every now and then when cold I get a little squeal but its very minimal. The price you pay for performance brakes.

If you weren't aware waffle performance rotors can be a little surprising if you haven't run them before. Different vehicles act a little differently. Some setups have a tendency to have a wuring/buzzing sound when brakes are applied. Also temps and overall weather conditions may create other sounds. My car squeals like a b**** when I'm backing up and it's been raining all day.
