Thank you! The more I look at it, the happier I am with the result and I’m kind of digging the smaller tires on the 20’s. It rides great for the amount of drop and no rubbing at all!
It’s weird to say but my favorite part of the truck is still the tint. I’ve never seen anyone with anything...
Thanks. The box was like 25ish cubes net. Tuning... I have no idea lol. I started out with like 330sq/in of port and made it so it sat like 1” before the face of the seat. I’m not a fan of meters. It played flat from 25-50hz and could play down to 15hz without any problems
Tony said with drop shocks all the way down and spindles, it’s 4.5”
I just unplugged it. The warning comes up on the dash but I just clear it. I thought it was a constant light
275/55’s in the first picture before the drop. 255/50’s in the pictures with the drop
It sounded fucking incredible... yes that's past tense. I ripped it all out (subs and box) when I ran into a bunch of electrical issues. Plus the box was so tight to the roof that it squeaked when I went over any bumps or off-axis turns and it drove me up a wall
I'm rebuilding to a much...
Dash isn't 100% yet. I still have to get everything perfectly smooth then vinyl wrap it with some 3m Burlwood to match the rest of the woodgrain in the truck
A little something I did in my Suburban
iPad Pro 9.7"
optical to Audison BitOne
8 10" midrange's in the front doors
12 Tweeters
4 15" Sundown Zv5 15's
2 Taramps HD10000's on subs
1 Taramps HD10000 on 10's
3 Singer alternators
Got everything installed. That's at 4.5/6" and I had to swap to a smaller tire due to a belt being broken in one of my 275/55's. A buddy had a nice set of 255/50's laying around that he gave me until I get new wheels. I'm leaning towards LTZ 24's but I have a feeling they will rub pretty hard
I’ve gotten bits and pieces of my kit in the mail. Really hoping to have the rest of it by the time I get out of work on Friday. I’ve ditched the idea of 26’s. Just too small of a tire for the roads I have to travel on. 140 miles daily just to and from work, I just know something bad is bound to...
I hadn’t mentioned 26’s but I got an extra set of spacers for the rear because of all the weight in audio I have. A buddy has 26’s so I might see if I can borrow his just to see what they look like
The more I think about my commute every day, the more I want to go with a smaller wheel with...
I'm going to be ordering a 4/6 drop for my suburban in the next week or so and I'm trying to get an idea on what it'll look like and what size wheels I should go with. Really wanting to go with 26's but I've yet to see one with 4/6 and 26's so I'm kind of weary. Any pictures of big trucks with...
im having absolutely zero luck finding captains chairs for my Tahoe. I've seen people in silverados use front seats in their second row before and they say it's quite easy. Has anyone attempted it in their tahoe/yukon?
Hey guys can someone tell me how to remove 2nd row captains chairs from a Suburban. I saw a set at a local JY and couldn't really see any bolts to remove them. It's getting cold here so I really don't want to spend a hour trying to figure out how to remove them in 15* weather. Thanks
Ok here's a better question... Is there a forum for our trucks that's actually helpful? It seems like no one on here knows a damn thing or doesn't want to help anyone out (except in suspension forum)
Has anyone moved theirs to inside the armrest? I'm debating wether it'll be better to move them there or to buy the front half of the center console from a junkyard and move them down there. Any input would be appreciated
I did a rear wiper delete and now the cargo door ajar light is on. The wiper plug and rear door sensors have the same wires. I tried jumping the wires at the wiper plug but that didn't work. Does anyone know how to get the light to stay off? It causes my alarm to go off every night and I can't...
Bumping a very old thread. My factory radio only has 1 plug and there aren't any pink wires in that 1 harness. I don't have onstar or any other fancy features. I still have no sound coking from my speakers. I'm assuming I have a factory amp that needs to be powered on but don't know which wire...
