    Correct, it is the 10 bolt. That makes sense letting it cure before filling with oil. I appreciate the feedback!

    I plan to replace my rear differential cover when I change the fluid (it's pretty rusty). I don't know the condition or type of the existing gasket so I will plan to replace it as well. I've seen mixed information about using RTV on the gasket. Does anyone have advice on what's recommended?

    I just did mine and found that I had to put the tool on the underside of the crank pulley to get it started. Then it had plenty of room to crank around and up over the top.

    Thanks, it's a 4x4 SLT. I'm not planning to do a whole lot more right now....I am considering black rims and blacking out the grill/emblems in the future. I'm kind of in the fence about that still.

    I finally grabbed a pic while it was clean. This is when I bought it vs today. Externally the only difference is tires, tint, vent shades, and wax. I replaced the factory head unit and am working through 100k maintenance items now.

    A good resource is www.Crutchfield.com. You can configure your vehicle and they'll tell you what's compatible and what installation parts are needed.

    I don't know which side is cold, but I'll take another look to see if it rotates at all when I switch it from heat to cold.

    Yes, even when temp is turned all the way down it does not change the air temp. I did try replacing the blend door actuator under the passenger side dash, but it didn't make any difference. Not sure if there are more than one of them?

    I would gladly pay for a new compressor if I knew that was the problem. But yeah that's an expensive guess.
