    Sun, my first issue was with a 99 and this write-up is from a 99. So I can't say I 100% agree with you on this one ;) OP, don't put it off. They are going to fail when you need them.

    Deff nothing else. I can actually pull that relay and the clicking stops. That's not to say the starter relay doesn't click; it does. Strange that would be DRL cause the truck never had them/worked. Im going to replace the starter today and hope like hell thats the issue.

    I agree. I cannot fathom why they redesigned an injection system from scratch while MUCH better injectors have been available for years. All I could really tell was crazy massive corrosion; not much else.

    Well, the EGR doesn't seem to respond at all. At least the valve is closed tho. The noise is without a doubt the IAC and not the EGR. There is also other noise, much more faint, and is what Im thinking you described before. Very strange the truck does that with both IACs and the Tahoe does it...
