    Larger gas tank

The issue is the approval process for gasoline tanks. It's not that big of a challenge on diesel tanks. Do you have a Yukon or Yukon XL? This is one of the reasons we would opt for a XL. Also, GM made the standard length longer to the point where you might a well just get an XL.

    Worthwhile dealer add-ons?

That's a rip off. Most high volume dealerships are advertising anywhere from $4,000 to $8,000 off 2024 GMC Yukons these days with no dealer add-ons. Well worth it to travel and get a good deal these days. It'll help the market by increasing the frequency of "arbitrage" as well.

    Yukon vs Wagoneer Comparison

I don’t currently have a GM, Ford, or Stellantis product but Stellantis needs to offer a BOGO deal on any vehicle they sell because my assumption is that 1 of the 2 will always be at the dealer for warranty repairs.

Buy a New 2024 Yukon or Tahoe or wait til 25s

I'm interested in how quickly discounts on the 2025s will match those of the 2024s after release. https://gmauthority.com/blog/2024/09/chevy-average-transaction-price-drops-almost-5-percent-in-august-2024/

    ‘25 Tahoe Ordered

Yeah, I'm curious too. I haven't seen official GM pricing. Does anyone have to a link to that (not the GM authority 'pricing uncovered' article)?

    ‘25 Tahoe Ordered

It's always much easier to negotiate with a dealer once you can provide an example of another dealer advertising for way lower. Granger Ford makes it easy to negotiate with local Ford dealers

Seems like Koons in Tyson's Corner is $7,000 below MSRP: https://www.koonschevybuickgmc.com/new-chevy-inventory.html?ModelAndTrim=Tahoe Same with Bomnin Chevy: https://www.bomninchevroletwestkendall.com/VehicleSearchResults?search=new&year=2024&make=Chevrolet&model=Tahoe

If they are, it won't be long before it's being discounted to the same levels if not greater than 2024 models. GM keeps making more and more of these; same applies for Ford with its Expedition.

Magnetic Ride Control vs Air Ride Suspension

@Fless are you sure @Antonm is getting what you're putting out?

Magnetic Ride Control vs Air Ride Suspension

Before we begin, let's be clear. MOST people who are proponents of the Air Ride system make the argument that the benefits outweigh the drawbacks. It's certainly a valid argument; but I've never seen them make the claim that Air Ride systems for Class 1 to 3 vehicles are more reliable than...

Magnetic Ride Control vs Air Ride Suspension

You're talking about a different Class of vehicle (Class 8) which have service life designs that are radically different from passenger vehicles. Let me be more specific. What passenger auto manufacturer (for Class 1 to 3 vehicles - or less than a 14,000 GVWR) has been able to make an Air Ride...

Magnetic Ride Control vs Air Ride Suspension

@Joseph Garcia I just let him keep digging that hole deeper by continuing to talk/type. Same with subject interviews - there's no real need to yell or argue with a subject/target/witness/etc. You just let them continue talking while being recorded so it can be played back later. You keep...

Magnetic Ride Control vs Air Ride Suspension

Better question: has any auto manufacturer been able to make an Air Ride suspension that was more reliable than its traditional coil spring/strut/shock setup?

Magnetic Ride Control vs Air Ride Suspension

Okay, let's just say for argument sake that I wasn't lying and I'm not making stuff up, what is your proposed more likely alternative mechanical failure? I mean if I'm an idiot and you're not, you should be able to provide an answer that is more plausible than what I supposed happened.

RFI: Super Cruise Ownership Pro & Cons

Will SuperCruise (or any other "self driving" system) allow me to be hands free and play with my b@lls while the vehicle drives itself to its destination? If not, then I wouldn't spend money on it.

Magnetic Ride Control vs Air Ride Suspension

It was on flat pavement. There would have been no need to jack up the rear to access the spare tire. Information known (or allegedly known if you think I'm gas-lighting you and making this all up) so far: - 2021+ Suburban High Country with MD plates - male middle age driver - stopped on flat...

Magnetic Ride Control vs Air Ride Suspension

To confirm for everyone reading this thread, your claim is that you HAVE to use a lift/jack to raise the rear of the Tahoe/Suburban/Yukon/Escalade in order to remove the spare tire because that there is not enough static ground clearance for someone to remove the spare tire/wheel from its...

Magnetic Ride Control vs Air Ride Suspension

So you need to jack up the rear of the vehicle to remove the spare tire? Then I presume you would need to use the same jack (unless you're carrying 2 jacks) to lift the corner of the vehicle for the tire that you're replacing.

Magnetic Ride Control vs Air Ride Suspension

Does the "easy exit" setting just lower the front axle or does it lower the entire vehicle evenly? You seem really offended. I take it you have an Air Ride equipped vehicle?

Magnetic Ride Control vs Air Ride Suspension

You missed the bolded part so I'll repeat it again. The entire front of the vehicle was incredibly low but none of the front tires looked flat. There did not appear to be any collision damage. The driver had the spare tire out but wasn't taking any action to replace any of the front tires...

The 2025 GM order guide is live

Wow, your experience seems contrary to some Youtube videos out there. I think DemonWorks has made multiple videos documenting DEF consumption for the baby Duramax series of engines. When towing a 6,000 lbs trailer, it appears that the DEF usage is about 4.5 gallons per 1,000 miles (or 2.25...

Magnetic Ride Control vs Air Ride Suspension

I just saw a 2021+ Chevy Suburban High Country pulled off on the side of the road near where we lived. The occupants had the spare tire out but they didn't seem to be doing anything with it. The entire front of the vehicle looked really low - it wasn't just one corner of the vehicle lower than...
