When I did my 2016 suburban, I removed the transmission support mount, raised the transmission up slightly, wedged some 2x4’s between the exhaust and cab floor. This gave just enough clearance to remove the pan. Such a PITA but it worked.
I just installed the Fox 2.0 coil overs on a 2016 suburban and it raised my front end 3 inches. The threads were showing 2 13/16”. Looks like I will have to adjust them Down.
