    6 speed auto swap

Entertaining the idea of swapping my 4 speed auto to a 6 speed auto. I love my Tahoe but also don't want to pour a fortune into it. Is this a feasible swap? I've seen threads that seemed to die here and there, with not much solid info. Really wish the PPV didn't have the 4 speed :(

I found the brown wire but the harness 6J4 only has ONE brown wire. Where does it connect to?

    Horn not working

Hey guys Yes I’ve searched, and yes there is SOME information out there but I’m looking for a definitive answer. Okay so my horn doesn’t work. If I jump the fuse it works but nothing from the steering wheel. Which harness and which wire am I looking for that could potentially be cut? Or...

2013 Tahoe, front part of dash

I did the dashskin cover and it's great quality. Right under $150 shipped. No one notices it riding with me unless I point it out.

No I meant to look up and see how far others were cutting it down but just haven't had a chance. So that being said, remove the whole thing?

    Horn not working.

Is that bundle of wires on the right side of the center console? I see that in the diagram just want to ensure it's right before I start ripping things apart.

Drop springs and I made some shock extenders. They're cheap springs from eBay and they're pretty rough to be honest. In time I'll upgrade them

    My 2009 PPV progress thread

Latest update. New wheels and struts. After the new struts I had to lower the front because it lifted it back up approx. 3 inches. I lowered it by flipping the strut to mount under the control arm.

    Leveling kit to lower?

My rough math put it at around 800-900 lbs per bolt as a resting load. If you use 10k as a max I should be good even factoring in suspension travelling down and increasing the downward force (and weight) on the bolts due to real life road circumstances. Great call out though for anyone...

    Leveling kit to lower?

Ended up doing this today with grade 8.8 7/16th bolts. I feel confident in their ability to hold. It dropped my Tahoe quite a bit. So much that I'm going to need to lower the rear now. I'll post a picture tomorrow

    Leveling kit to lower?

Did you use the original hardware? How much of the front end weight is actually placed on those bolts?

    Leveling kit to lower?

Hi all, Wanted to get some thoughts on using this leveling kit, flipped to the bottom of the arm, to lower my Tahoe instead. I would probably opt for the 1" "level" as you will be moving down 1/2" or so just by flipping the strut mount to the underside. Thoughts? I would use quality grade 10...

Transmission is done, cost $1400 after all was said and done. Full rebuild, new pump, etc. Shifting great, supercharger next in the plans BUT may be on hold if I decide to put a big single on my 335i first.

The 335i is an auto, still lots of fun. Headers I bought are from Amazon https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01JGRZTFS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Haven't had a chance to get them on, but hopefully soon. Tahoe goes to the trans shop tomorrow, full rebuild is going to run...

It’s not very thick plastic and seems a little brittle, just a thought. Regardless hope it never happens. Just finished the exhaust, removed the factory muffler, the secondary (?) cat and put a dynomax bullet in place. Sounds fantastic, I will try and get a video at some point this week...
